I hesitantly bought the pack of 6 bulbs, even though this was a first time buy of this particular brand. I'm usually more cautious about buying more than one of any product until I find out how the first one or two hold up. I made an exception for this buy because of the cost of these bulbs and the reviews I read (all of them). Well, so far, I'm totally pleased. First, they arrived ahead of schedule without even a scratch on the box. They were packed heavily to avoid breakage, and best of all, none were broken!! Now the absolute best; I tested each one and every one of them worked (from the many different reviews I read on these and other brands, this is amaxing!). I have been purchasing the same brand of bulb that came with my range hood since I bought the hood 2yeas ago, because of the exact match on all of the numbers, watts etc, but not only were they outrageously expensive, they only lasted a couple of months before burning out. This last time I came to buy another bulb, I decided to take a chance on these and bought the six pack since you can't buy one. There was only one difference in all the numbers (39 w, instead of 38) but all the rest were exact and the size base was right. Best buy? You bet!!! They were a perfect fit in every way. They sat even with the hood when screwed in, though the measurement stated was just a tad bit longer, the price ( I felt) was more than reasonable, especially since I had been paying was just under $9.00 each before, and it's still burning bright going into two months now. My opinion? Get them! They're great so far and I will write again to let you know how long it lasts before burning out. Great product. Great seller. Great buy!!!

I needed to replace one light on my track lighting. The light fixture had come with the Philips narrow flood light bulbs. After seeing the price of one Philips light😮, I looked further and found KOR brand and for the price of 6 I decided to give them a try. I received them in 2 days with no shipping cost (I'm not even a prime member)!! It was well-packaged with no damages. I had no problem getting the light in the track and it shone just as bright as the Philips bulbs still in the fixture. Only time will tell as to how long the new bulb will last. I am extremely pleased right now!

I have used these bulbs twice, in two different locations, both with great success.First I used them after moved into my current apartment a few years ago and was faced with the challenge of not being able to install lighting on the stucco ceiling or most walls (in my rental unit) so I was stuck with lights I could hang on the wall myself while still plugging them into a standard outlet. Once I found those mounted lights (as a separate purchase) I tried out a series of bulbs - traditional incandescents, leds, and these halogen bulbs that fit into a standard socket. These bulbs were the only ones that were strong enough to illuminate my art work from across the room and also warm enough to be a very pleasant warm tone.These worked so well that I worked with my mother to install the same set up in her shop, and they’ve been working great.They seem to get to the same level of heat for me as a traditional incandescent bulb, maybe a little let (eg: they are far less hot than a traditional halogen bulb.They do burn out relatively frequently, about every 4 months with frequent use I would say. I have continued to buy them based on their other unique qualities, deciding their worth the cost to me and my art work.

I bought these to replace overhead recessed lites in my kitchen. When we remodeled our kitchen several years ago our electrician installed some very nice bulbs. I couldn't find that brand when they started burning out so ordered a case of 15 of another brand (brand x) here on Amazon. At this point, all 11 lites in my kitchen have Brand X bulbs in them and I've used up that replacement case. 2 lites went out so I needed to buy more bulbs. After reading reviews I chose these KOR bulbs.I installed these bulbs into fixtures that happened to be right next to each other at the end of a row of lites. I was STUNNED at the difference in quality of light these bulbs emitted vs Brand X. These bulbs give off more light and the light is bright, clean and pure white. I was shocked at how yellow my white cabinets look and how olive drab my stone counters look in areas with Brand X bulbs overhead, while in the area with these lights my cabinets look bright white and my counters look so much prettier! My counters are white, grey, taupe and pale blue-green granite. But under the brand X lites they look cream, brown and olive green. I guess I just never noticed over time as I replaced the original bulbs one by one that the quality and color of light in my kitchen was changing. Even tho these bulbs are pricey, I am going to throw out 9 perfectly working old bulbs and replace them with these bulbs. I can't want to have my original looking kitchen back!

I was glad to run across thses here on Amazon. I usually buy these from Lowes, but Lowes has discontinued the sale of the 38 watts by GE. All six bulbs fit my over the stove vent and shined much brighter ✨️ than the 38 watts by GE. Yes I tried all six in both sockets to make sure they works. I do recommend.
