Breville 800CPXL Citrus Press Pro Juicer Machine, Brushed Stainless Steel

This beast makes it super easy to juice citrus of any size, from the smallest lime to the largest grapefruit, in a little bit of no time. it gets every drop of juice out, and does a great job of separating the juice from the pulp. it has an inner "basket" which catches the pulp, and if you want to add a little back in for a nice pulpy juice, it's easy to do. Clean-up is super easy too. The juicer is quite a bit larger than I had imagined it would be, so if you're worried about having counter space, you will probably want to look carefully at the dimensions. The old fashioned hand squeezing juicers are a much less expensive alternative, but if you are going to be juicing a lot of citrus, or if like me, you have a lot of hand weakness or Paralysis, this is by far the better tool for you. It is expensive, bur in the long run it's worth it due to the time it saves. and also also how efficiently it works, as well as it's yield of juice per fruit. Best of all, it's very sturdy, and should last a very long time. I probably don't have to mention how much better tasting the juice is if you squeeze it at home than if you buy bottles or jugs of it in the store. there's almost no comparison. If you buy citrus in large quantities when it's on sale, then juice it and freeze most of it for later use, it will retain that "fresh squeezed" flavour, and this machine will make quick work of it. If you live in a place where citrus trees grow, this machine would be a "must have" for making use of all that fresh citrus before it all goes bad. Compared to other mechanical juicers, others might have a broader range of fruits and vegetables which they can juice, but none do as good a job juicing citrus. It's good to have those other types of juicer for all other juicing projects, but it's still nice to have one dedicated to citrus since no other juicer that I know of can do as good a job on citrus.

Easy to assemble, easy to clean , easy to make juices with ! Love the fact that it doesn’t drips, and you can make a large bag of oranges and fill up the bottles . Very stable and not so noisy. Great citrus juicer .

Great juicer and easy to use and clean. Glad that I was able to try it out at a friend home before decided to get one. It's pricier than other brand, but I trusted Breville products.

UPDATE 7/5/2021: I upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars based on over a year of use since I wrote the original review. My wife and I love this citrus press. None of my early concerns (listed below) turned out to be issues at all. I love the little flap that allows you to stop the flow of juice between glasses. Since we usually make 2 glasses of juice, this has been handy. It doesn't leak or drip at all. Original review: The unit is solid, nice looking on the counter, easy to use, very quiet, and really fast. This thing gets all the juice out of an orange half in seconds. I feel like I'm cheating. I am able to make juice in a fraction of the time and with much less mess than the plastic juice attachment for our Kitchen-aid. I can put an empty glass under the spout and fill it with juice without anything spilling or splattering, unlike the Kitchen-aid which makes a mess. You can make many glasses of juice before you need to clean the strainer. This was a very worth while upgrade. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The juice tray and strainer are both made of thin (but solid) stamped stainless steel with a safety issue: the thin outer rims are sharp, as are the inner rims that go over the shaft. If you were cleaning them and slid your finger quickly along this rim with much force, you could get the metal equivalent of a paper cut. I took the tray and strainer to my shop and sanded the edges a little. This helped, but the problem is that these rims are so thin, like a knife, that there is only so much I could do. If you normally wash with latex gloves, this is no issue. If you are aware and wash gently, you won't have an issue, but you will notice the sharp edge so be careful. The specific model I got was the 800CPXLBSS. I received the unit from Amazon on Feb 25, 2020. One tip for assembly: the strainer has a little bump in the bottom with an arrow on it. When installed, this should point to the back of the unit, aligning with the bump in the juice tray. Because the spout on the juice tray is in the front, my first inclination was to align the bump in the strainer with the spout but I quickly saw this was incorrect. The unit comes with well written instructions, although you can figure it out without them. There are 4 spare white split O-rings for the top of the fruit dome. The fruit dome is the piece which snaps into the handle and keeps the top of the fruit from spinning. It is held in place by friction, and my guess is that these must wear out over time for Breville to include 4 spares. The ring is what keeps the fruit dome from falling out of the handle. This ring is not what keeps the fruit dome from spinning. The fruit dome is solidly keyed and has no chance of spinning. There is only one strainer, which is perfect. I like a little small pulp in my juice and this is exactly what the Breville 800CPXLBSS delivers. I found an on-line video that showed two strainers with the unit - one fine and one coarse. This must be an older video, or for a different model. The power cord has a nice finger hole in it to pull out of the socket (U.S. model). I am happy with the unit and would buy it again. This is our second Breville appliance. We have a Breville toaster that is incredible - a work of art in ease-of-use, features, and quality, which is why we decided to try this Breville Citrus Press. The Citrus Press is pretty nice and I'll give it an A. The toaster gets and A+++.

So far (Over 1 year of daily use) Breville Citrus Press Pro 800CPXL has exceeded our expectations. It’s not a cheap citrus juicer, but if you need the best citrus juicer in the market, this is it. Last November, I was at pharmacy to buy Vitamin C supplement for my daughter for cold and cough and pharmacists said “I would rather recommend you continue with what you are holding in your hand – Oranges”. Since then, we buy big box of Oranges every week from Costco, so I can say our usage of this machine “Heavy”. After 1 year of use, this looks same as when we took out of box for the first time. We have thrown cheap plastic citrus juicers from Wal-Mart- I noticed plastic juicing dome was wearing out and where do that worn out plastic go? Obviously in our tummy. This is sixth Breville kitchen appliance in our home and like other Breville stuff, this die cast machine is built like tank. It looks very nice on counter-top and juicing is very easy and effective. You need to apply just little pressure while juicing and motor is very silent. Power-assisted arm not only make squeezing effortless, but keeps you hand clean as you don’t need to press fruit on the top of juicer dome. Built-in sensors activate juicing process once the press arm and fruit are in proper contact. I also notice that it is more effective and gives more juice compared to plastic juicers since you have no leftover juicable part remaining on orange halves. It goes right to the very end and takes out every bit of juice out of fruit. Top and bottom cups as well as pulp cup is removable and very easy to wash and clean. All parts that requires washing are dishwasher safe. Though we mainly use it for oranges, it should be noted that it easily handles grapefruits and limes as well. When you need to stop juice to flow, you can simply lift the spout upwards, thus there is no more dripping while taking the glass away. You can control the pulp stainless steel filters. THE GOOD: • Outstanding built quality • Effortless and easy squeezing • Exquisite look – You would like to keep it on the counter-top • More juice and almost no wastage • Very quiet operation • Very easy to clean • Pulp control • Drip-stop spout THE BAD: • I can’t think of any major issue other than price. Edges of strainer parts are little sharp, but I have never hurt myself while cleaning. Though top cup eject button worked perfect so far, I think this should have been designed better as sometimes I have to try couple of times to put it back. It sits by plastic o-ring gaskets and It should be noted that it comes with extra o-ring type gaskets in case you need to replace it. FINAL THOUGHTS: I bought this Citrus Juicer after researching every product in market. I don’t think there is any better citrus press in market than this. It is expensive, but it is far far better than other juicers we have used before. You can buy packaged juices at lower price, but when you do it yourself, you know that you are getting is pure and fresh juice and not some watered down stale juice. Overall, this is a stellar product and you would not be disappointed if you are doing regular citrus juicing. I am very demanding person, but this product earns Highly…Recommended rating.

Estoy encantada con éste exprimidor tengo un año con él y como es de acero inoxidable, no ha perdido su brillo sigue como nuevo y lo uso a diario, es silencioso, muy potente, fácil de limpiar y de usar, la fruta se exprime sin esfuerzo y su diseño luce elegante en la cocina, de verdad es una maravilla, vale la pena, es una buena inversión

La verdad que es un producto muy caro para un exprimidor de naranjas, pero el diseño y la calidad de los acabados lo hacen valer cada centavo. Los resultados al usarlo son mucho mejores que cualquier otro exprimidor que he tenido. En pocos segundos ya no hay más nada de jugo en la fruta y se aprovecha todo. Estoy muy satisfecho con el Breville.
