These gloves work really well when dealing with blackberry bushes.

I've loved using these when I do things with my rose bushes. They protect well and have lasted well.

I got these gloves primarily to protect my hands and arms when working with hardware cloth (wire mesh). They provide a perfect amount of protection while still allowing me to use my hands freely. I've used other rose gloves that were so stiff I could barely grip anything, so I was happy I didn't have the same issue with these. Other people have commented that they run small. I definitely agree. I usually wear a medium in gloves, but got these in large and they are barely big enough. Although they are a bit snug, they are exactly what I needed. I imagine when I'm done cutting hardware cloth, these will end up getting plenty of use in the garden. Because of the sizing, I'd probably give these 4.5 stars, but since that's not an option, I rounded up :-)

Purchased these gloves for my Mom for Mother's Day. She is an avid home gardener with an exceptional ability to grow anything.She has a lemon tree that has very sharp thorns and when she would pick the lemons, she would always cut her arms on the thorns.I bought these gloves for her hoping that these globes would help with that problem. They are very nice quality and definitely will do the job of protecting her hands and arms from any thorns. I purchased the large sized gloves for her. I thought I was buying a little large for her sized hands to give her some wiggle room but they fit snugly. I feel she has average sized hands and arms for a woman who is 5'2" and 160 lbs. These gloves fit her perfectly. As for me, I am quite larger than my mom and I have larger hands. I couldn't get the gloves on past my fingers. My suggestion to the larger women or women with larger hands and arms to go up a size or two or buy these gloves from the same brand made for men.

These save my forearms and are great for anything thorny or pokey... also great for poison ivy. I have found that they are comfortable enough to do most gardening but weeding out smaller weeds by hand is more difficult due to the thickness/stiffness of the glove. They do run a bit small, I usually wear a size medium in gloves and the large fits pretty snug with no wiggle room. I am a 5'6" female with size 8.5 shoes... I would guess if you are much bigger than me these might not fit you at all.

I ordered the medium and large. The fingers are short so the fit is not good. I have long fingers so I didn't expect an ok fit. There is hardly any difference in the fingers between medium and large. I purchased them for myself and my mother's birthday I only gave it 3 stars because of the fingers weren't long enough form. However the feel and looks were 5 star. My mother has used her gloves for trimming her roses and for wrestling with brier plants. She gives the gloves a 5 star. She took the large pair that I have ordered and she is pleased with the fit. The gloves are beautiful.

Use these for all yard work. Prevents getting poison ivy. Will definitely purchase again.

I love these, I can trim bogenvillas, cactus, overgrown lantanas without worrying about all of the scratches that I’ll have.Thorns have very little effect but it is beginnnt to look like home

I bought these gloves for when deadheading or pruning my roses. Previously I purchased a very expensive pair of rose gloves at 3 times the price of these and on those gloves the fingers were 1/2" longer than my fingers.These gloves fit perfectly and don't leave a woad of fabric at the fingertips so the feeling you get when working with them is true-touch. I ended up leaving them on to work while pruning plants because I like the arm protection. Turns out a climbing rose was there and the gloves saved my arm from what would have been an awful scratch.Absolutely worth the price and good value - comfortable fit and well fitted to ladies' hands. The cuff is big enough to fit over my large fore-arms. The cuffs could be a tad bigger but it's not enough of an issue to prevent me recommedning or buying again if I need another pair.As for the roses - great protection and no thorns penetrating.

These are great rose gloves! Especially in my area where the only garden gloves available are soft fabric for small garden work or slightly padded gloves but only covers the hand AND doesn't even protect you from those thorny roses.Its winter time now and I'm learning to prune my own roses which I have over 25 varieties so imagine getting yourself pricked every single time you tried to lift a stem ! Ouch ! So I'm glad I went online to search for rose specific gloves and found this ! My hand and arm saver ! I no longer have to be scared when handling those roses and can cut and prune the roses to a satisfactory length !I'm happy to buy my first rose gloves and will be buying a couple more for spares !
