Did not remove veins
Specifically ordered a deveined line of liver and it was NOT deveined. Spent days making terrine de foie gras, 100 dollars and had to throw it away.

Not totally devined
I bought this duck foie gras, to make my own foie gras. I followed the recipe wich inlcude: salt, pepper, nutmeg and a sweet white wine. let it cure for 24hr. the next day I had to cut the foie gras in smaller pieces to fit the several small dishes I have. To my surprise one side of the liver was not devine. I had to wait so it will be at room temperature to remove the nerve.Overall the flavor was great, I would give 5 stars if the product was as the description. I will probably buy again and I will definitely check for nerves.

Cruel and inhumane
Amazon needs to stop selling foie gras! It is disgustingly cruel, and inhumane. It’s also linked to bird flu, heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure. Foie gras is the diseased liver of a duck or goose that was violently forced to make its liver swell to 10 times its normal size. Why would anyone want to eat such a thing?! It has been banned in several places in the US and many countries. There are also a lot of petitions going around to have it banned in other places. Amazon, stop selling foie gras! Stop selling cruelty!!
