The fabric is NOT see through, so is exactly what I wanted. There are cut-outs as part of the design, so they are not completely opaque either. The seashells are stitched with shades of blues and off white and the fabric itself is linen-like and not a bright white. I love them and can't wait to get them up on my windows in our sunporch. I bought the swags with this valance for the middle between the two sides.

I needed the straight valance to go with the curtain and swag set that I had already purchased in-store. This product was priced better, even with shipping, than I was able to get it for at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It is very well made. The linen is synthetic, but of a very good grade, the embroidery is in rich shades of blue, reminiscent of the Greek Isles. Generous width provides full coverage. It washes well and is easy to iron.

These are absolutely lovely and look great with the matching valance I also bought. It's perfect for our half bath! They let lots of light in, while still maintaining privacy. The linen seems durable. The design is sitched, so I'd wash on delicate cycle, but I didn't bother washing them. I hung the straight up. The wrinkles fell out in about a day.

I'm delighted with how pretty these curtains look, but I must admit, I would have preferred seeing more stitching around each of the eyelet openings... very concerned that they won't survive being laundered. When they need to be washed, I'd definitely recommend hand washing to extend the life of these curtains.

They weren’t as sheer as I thought they would be, however they are very durable & appear that they will last a long time.

I bought the valances after I bought the swag for my den/grandchildren's bedroom and really like it. My living room is blue so I held up the swag against the wall & really liked the way it looked so I ordered enough valances to do all the windows. After putting up the valances & living with them for a while my husband & I decided we needed the swags to complete the look so I ordered enough swags to do the windows. I am very happy with my purchases & highly recommend them.
