KimKim Korean Hot Sauce, 16oz

I am addicted to this stuff!! A friend gave me a bottle a year or so ago and ever since I have come back to KimKim as my go to hot sauce. I am glad Amazon carries it. Though I call it a hot sauce, I would say it is not really hot. There is a little heat but really it is about the flavor to me. I detect more sweet than heat in this sauce without it being overly sweet. I use it on any kind of meat grilled or baked, vegetables, eggs, sandwiches and pretty much anything I want to flavor up.Give a bottle a try for a different kind of hot sauce, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Expensive but still the best

This sauce is great for adding to eggs, ramen, tacos. Excellent stuff and goes a long way.If you list out flavors.... spicy, sweet, salty, sour/acidic, smoky, and a hint of fermented/alcohol-y/yeasty, umami... it’s really hard to find a sauce that perfectly balances all of these and has the right consistency /viscosity to work as a condiment and an ingredient.And to top it off, it’s in that bottle that is straight from a chef’s kitchen. This is the most under-appreciated sauce ever. Get it, share it... I promise you: your friends, family, and guests at any gathering will be asking about this sauce.

The product itself is amazing. I'm just upset that for the amount of money I spent over a quarter of the bottle was spilled out of the container because of movement when shipping. Luckily it was in a separate bag, but that's a lot of product that could have been saved if there was a better nozzle..

Great unique taste. Those accustomed to hotter sauces (like my daughter and son in law) may find it a bit on the sweet side but I like it. Good on fish, vegetables. Would buy again.

Great sauce, without the “chili” crap that seems to be in every other type of this sauce. Adds a good kick to add to food.

My son wanted this product and loves it. I have not used it myself but going by his recommendation, it is good.

I used to get this stuff from the guy that made it back in Richmond. I moved to the west coast and thought I'd never have it again. Best sauce hands down. Worth every cent.
