KNIPEX41 34 165 Knipex Tools LP - 4134165 6-1/4" Grip Pliers w/ Long, Narrow Jaw, Nickel Plated

I cannot understand the basis for the negative reviews. I found these to be very well made and well designed. I bought 5 and they were all consistently perfect. The jaws line up and the operation is smooth. I also bought some of the GEDORE 137 KR-7 and I prefer these. The jaws on these have greater travel when releasing the lock and open wider. Much easier to use without constantly adjusting the screw. I suppose the Gedore might be set up to have greater leverage and clamping force but it is not readily apparent. If I had to pick one to have close at hand for most applications it would be this one.

Great locking pliers, for quick welds in hard to get places. Well made.

Great tool

I keep these in my kitchen drawer, for those small jobs that come up. The jaws line up perfectly. Although small, the handles are rounded and not uncomfortable to set. The handles release with a squeeze, which makes them better for jobs that need quick setting and releasing. Standard thumbscrew to adjust the jaw width. I pull these out and use them often.

I really like these. The thin jaws work good for tight spaces. Id love to also buy a larger version of this same design.

Absolutely the tool that does the job. Others twist at tip. This tool doesn’t twist it holds whatever I clamp onto it. 5 stars unfortunately very pricey

Very nice. Typical Knipex excellent quality. The narrow parallel jaws fit places that other locking pliers don't. The unlock mechanism is easier to use than most locking pliers.

Knipex release trigger extends about 1/2" past main handle which is squeesed towards the adjustment screw to unlock, requires less effort to unlock and is easier to use when gloved; has larger 3 main pivot rivets; a heaver spring; thicker jaws which are about 1/2" longer nose then camparable Irwin 6LN. Irwin is missing Knipex weld bonding the handle halfs at adjustment screw. Knipex jaws close flush along the extended nose with about 1/4" x 3/16" flat mating at tip. Knipex came lubricanted in the box. All above differences and German labor acount for higher price. I will buy more.

Esse não é um modelo heavy duty, não foi feito para ser forte ou robusto, é um alicate pequeno, porém preciso, com um ajuste suave e gatilho de liberação macio.

Not impressed with the quality. I have bought Irwin locking pliers that are smoother, have no play when locked for half the price. Poor fit and finish.
