BANDAIHobby HGBF Wing Gundam Zero Flame (Honoo) Gundam Build Fighters Model Kit, 1/144 Scale

Posability, style, ease of building, balance, gimmicks, this kit has it all. Based off the popular Wing Zero from the Gundam Wing anime, this take on the suit has a flame motif and is very well executed, all the orange clear plastic, curving lines that imitate fire and the red plastic lend to a kit that appears both very fiery and easy to look at. The only reason you would not want this kit is if you either dislike the flame motif or despise the Wing Zero (how could you?!)It comes with the Twin Buster Rifle, so your dreams of epic colony busting poses and dual wielding are still here and alive. But you may be surprised by the new gimmick of this kit, parts of its wing assembly are SWORDS! You pop them off, and put them in his hands, and get ready for epic posing. Also yes, this DOES turn into Neo Bird Mode, and the process is actually very easy and it looks great.My only disappointment with the kit is how you attach the (beautiful) shield. It clips on in a way so it'll pretty much always hit the large shoulder. With a bit of sticky tac, you can position the shield over where it should be so it can be used with traditional blocking stances.Overall, if you like Gundam, if you like over the top, stylish kits or just want an even more epic Wing Zero, this kit is for you. It's very easy to build, does not need paint to look good and holds its poses very sturdily.

Just recieved it yesterday and was able to complete in a couple of short hours. The attention to detail is nice, the joint and articulation system has vastly improved for the 1/144 scale series since it was first released, making it more posable. This design is balanced as you can move the wings forward some so it won't topple over without a stand. The only gripe is that there are a lot of parts left over which could have added extra poseability or function if incorporated into this design. I stopped following the MSGW series a long time ago. It's good to see that they've become creative with it. Overall it's a light to moderate skill level kit, good for those starting out with these kits into the perfect and real grades.

It's an excellent 1/144 Gundam model. Was fun to build and looks great with my other Wing Zero variants.

The articulation is great. Fantastic part separation. Needs a little bit of panel lining on the white parts. Comes with two beam saber effect parts even though you only have one beam handle. As for the flight mode, it's decent compared to the other Wing Zero versions. Also, if you put the shield on, the shoulders would clash into the shield because it's just too high when connected to the peg. Overall, Great kit.

This is a stellar kit for those who love both Gundam Build Fighters and/or Wing. The transparent parts and flame curved wings/swords definitely gives this guy a unique look compared to its material Gundam (Wing Zero Custom). Painting this Gundam is almost unnecessary because the color variation does most of the work for you, but a bit of lining and sanding on joints can definitely help. If you are planning on painting it, best painting the parts before putting them together because it will be a massive pain if you miss and slip on that brush onto the clear parts and crevices.one thing to watch out for is when posing without a stand, the back can be a bit heavy so it might fall if the feet are not properly placed.

It's actually pretty cool! I had a perfect grade before this, but this one is easier to manage because it doesn't have as many fragile pieces as the PG model. All pieces were fully intact although some of the support notches were cracked. The joints and pressure fit pieces fit appropriately and the full model is not too difficult to build although the stickers (because the model is small) can be difficult for people without the proper tools.
