Simple Designs LT2009-GRN Mini Egg Oval Ceramic Table Desk Lamp, Green

It showed up and I thought "is this what I ordered?" It was smaller than I expected... But in a lamp... Why would I want a huge lamp? I really just wanted a reading light by the bed and I think it suits that purpose much better than a large standard bulb lamp--that I originally thought I bought. I put 7 watt bulb equivalents, and those bulbs are enough for me to read under (my eyes are light sensitive and prefer dimmer environments). Some people may want brighter bulbs, and there is a lot of diversity in the brightness you can buy in bulbs for this lamp.If you just want a bedside lamp... This isn't a bad deal. the base is about the size of a stemless wine glass for some perspective... And the shade is about double the diameter.

This is a beautiful little lamp and potentially very serviceable for someone. The switch is describe as rotary in the description, and I assumed this meant the twisty knob on the socket. It is not--it is an inline switch which in fairness does twist. This won't work for me as I need something I can easily find and quickly turn on in the dark, in time to see the caller ID on my phone. This would involve too much fumbling. When it arrived the inner product box showed crush damage. Unfortunately, the shade had been crushed inside as well. It should never have been sent out with obvious damage to the box, without inspection, but that would slow things down at the warehouse, wouldn't it (note: the outer box was not damaged so it was shipped that way). I will return it, but it is a shame as it is such a beautiful tiny lamp for next to my bedroom phone.Update: We initiated an exchange for this and got the new lamp in 2 days. There was a little damage to the box but on the base end not the shade end. The shade was fine. We like it so much we decided to use it in another location where finding the switch quickly in the dark is not a issue. So we are completely happy with it now. Doesn't seem to be a problem of the shade getting too hot as one reviewer mentioned. Maybe they were using a bulb with too many watts. Works fine with the recommended 40 watt bulb. You can always go to LED for less heat or more light.

So aggravating when you expect a small table lamp for a bedside table and get this toy size thing instead. This lamp isn’t even the size of a coffee cup. It is easy to knock over because it’s so lightweight. More a night light than an actual lamp. The bulb sticks up higher than the shade, making the shade pointless, it just looks silly. My bad for not checking dimensions but I thought it would at least be an actual lamp . Dumb purchase. Unless you are looking for a Nite light, don’t bother with this. 👎🏻

I didn't realize how small. My fault.You can go buy the special light bulb at a store like I did. Because on Amazon the bulbs that fit this are at least nine dollars. Plus shipping. I got one at the store for three dollars. The bulb sticks up above the lamp shade. I need a shorter e1240w bulb. So it's a pretty cute lamp. It looks nice. It works. Very small. Specific expensive bulb needed not a regular light bulb. I gave five stars because I would have figured this out if I read further down the description.It's inexpensive until you buy the bulb that costs as much as the lamp. Then I guess it's still inexpensive unless you're poor like me.

Doesn't come with a light bulb and doesn't say what kind it uses. A Christmas bulb? I don't know. Cute little lamp though.

The lamp is tiny which made it perfect for my needs. It sits perfectly on my entry hall table without taking up too much room. Gives off enough light (and then some) to light up the hallway. A good deal I would recommend.

It's very compact and perfect for small spaces. Because I'm dumb I added some trim and appliques before plugging it in. I've tried different bulbs (specifically bought for this socket since it doesn't take a regular bulb), tried multiple outlets, and it seems to be the lamp. It doesn't work. Shame, because it looks really cute.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. It fits perfectly in my small space. I only wish I could find a bulb not as bright as 40w

These are so small they probably shouldn't have been taken away from their mommies, but they are just so dang cute. Fits perfectly on a small dining table for ambient light, or on a little nightstand for night safety in a hall. The coral is adorable.

Really are too small there too light when you turn them on they fall over every time

Cute little lamp, needs a special bulb that was easily available. I use it as a night lamp and it’s on all night but doesn’t heat up, which is treat.
