Fine product, carefully packaged and delivered.
This is the first time I've tried Biber Salçası. I want to try a recipe for Kisir which calls for it. It's delicious.I'm especially impressed by the incredible packaging from the seller. The jar was triple wrapped in plastic cling wrap, then triple bubble wrapped, then shrink wrapped. There was also padding in the box. I appreciate the careful service.

Great Condiment
This is a versatile condiment; adds great flavor to dips, sauces an even makes a great bread dip when added to extra virgin olive oil.

Delicious condiment
WE got our first jar as a gift from a Turkish chef. We've since bought it for a few of our vegan friends and they have loved it also. It's good on everything, tho I haven't tried it yet on ice cream. However, if you don't use the whole jar within a few weeks it will start to mold....sad...

Jar lid opened on arrival with black mold all over it
Arrived in unusable condition. The black gunk got all over my hands when I opened the box.

Fix the lid
Has a good flavor but the jar is never quite sealed

Great for Turkish recipies.
I wish this was 7 lira in America (~$1.40 at the time of writing); but to have this little piece of Turkey in America, it is more than worth the price. Excellent for making sauces and curing pastirma. The quality is what I expect from Tamek. Not Turkish spice store quality, but close enough for my needs.

Tastes very good, worth the price
Expensive, but worth it. Great quality, tastes like fresh red peppers.I aliquoted and froze to avoid spoilage. It has very little added salt, so keeping in the fridge is not sufficient to make it last.
