SURGITUBE BAND NO 1 5YD WHITE Size: 5/8"

This is the best bandage for fingertip injuries. The gauze goes on in a doublethickness and covers just the tip or the whole finger. Push a length (twice as long as the injury to be covered) of gauze overthe aluminum tube and insert the injured finger. Hold the end of the gauze to the finger, and after pulling the tube to the end ofthe finger, twist once and reinsert the finger which pulls the rest of the gauze over the finger for a second thickness. Use tape to hold it on.The next larger size 7/8" can cover big toes and thumbs.

Worked great

I damaged three fingers. Trying to wrap gauze around the fingers and then trying to tape it was very difficult. With the Surgitube all I had to do was apply the medication, hold a non stick pad on each finger and slide the Surgitube on. The little metal device for sliding it on didn't work to well. I cut the bottom our of an old pill bottle and put the Surgitube on the pill bottle and slid that on my finger, held the Surgitube and slid the bottle off. The surgitube work fine.

Soft like a tightly-knit gauze, applicator makes size adjustment so easy and much less expensive than the local drug store. Very happy with this product!
