Others have complained about this and similar products being made at least partly of iron/steel. I checked, and the tips I bought over a decade ago also were magnetic, so this isn't something new, and shouldn't be a concern. That said, you can't beat the selection of tips you get for the price. They arrived individually wrapped and in excellent condition, ready to use. You may not need every one in this set, but you'll pay a lot more if you buy them one-at-a-time. I recommend this product if it fits your iron and suits your needs. Enjoy.

Just get real Hakko tips. These didn't fit well, some not at all. Super cheap. Spend $20 on a few good tips you will actually use and will last. At first glance it looks like a deal. In the long run it's not.

So. I purchased this variety pack of tips for my Hakko 936 (Genuine) soldering station. I was only recently able to get around to trying them on. The problem is that these are NOT for the 936. They look to fit the hand-piece of the 888D, but not my older 936.I'd say they look usable, but are definitely too narrow for the 936.

After replacing one tip with my old one, it work really well. I did not try other tips. But each tip size has its purpose. I will try them when needed. The price/performance is good. A listen learned: I should replace these new one earlier.

I bought a soldering station from an online hobby shop. It is a knock-off of a Hakko soldering station. The tip that came with it was not very good, but I replaced it with the chisel tip in this set, and it works great. I am not a professional, I just use it for general wire soldering, and for tinkering with RC trucks.

When it came time to select additional tips for a YiHUA 936, I checked Amazon reviews on several similar-appearing sets. That didn't help much, so I chose these based on the pictures. The ones I got did NOT have part numbers engraved on them, but they're fine, all the same.Every one fits well. No diameter or length problems. Not sure what these are made of, but don't be concerned if yours are magnetic; the best tips are copper with an iron cladding.I've been doing electronic soldering for a half-century, and I'd buy these again. I do understand that what arrives might not be the same.

these work really well with my soldering station,i would recommend them to anyone in need of them. they even work with the trakpower tk950 if you get the smaller soldering iron sleeve for the hakko 907 iron. ps to get the sleeve cheep just buy another Hakko 907 iron right here on amazon for eleven dollars the 907 iron isn't much but all you need is the sleeve anyway.
