This is far better than the Arco I replaced. This unit is powerful, lasts a long time and stays at full power until the last 30 seconds. This is such an improvement over the Arco. The shape takes some getting used to, but it's ok, no benefit to the shape. But because of the shape it has a real strange balance to it and you need to be very careful when changing your grip. I fumbled it a few times in the beginning. ( It really makes me wonder if they had a groomer try it out before putting it into production)There is a big problem with the power cutting out, it started on mine the second day and I thought I was going to send it back.It is because of the battery contacts, they get a black soot on them from arcing and the more it arcs, the more soot it gets until it starts to lose contact. I do electronics work and I have a contact enhancer called deoxit. I put that on the battery contacts and it has run like a dream ever since, but deoxit is a fairly expensive product. If you see this black soot on the battery contacts, you can try cleaning it off with alcohol and maybe an extremely light wipe of clipper oil may help.Wahl really needs to address this issue.

We have a shepadoodle. Thick fur and a lot of it especially around his neck. This razor is the best we found so far. Worth every penny. Had cheaper brands, had to put a lot of work into giving Deuce a cut. Now, it’s not a chore. Not loud and he has no problem with getting crippled.

This clipper is a great fit in my hands and enjoy the removable battery. But this clipper after one day of use started to cut in and out while in use. The clipper stops working and comes off and on. Which really sucks while trying to groom dogs. Great design but quality sucks majorly.

The clippers cut great, much better than any other clippers I've used. Granted I've never spent this much on dog clippers. However, when using a guard to cut thicker fur dogs, the blade wants to keep popping off anytime the guard catches a tangle in the fur. Although it's easy to put back on it's very annoying that it pops off so easily.

I bought this for my dog who is medium sized but has long hair. We usually cut her hair during the summer so she doesn't get heat rashes but it looks very choppy because we think we're more talented than we actually are.I saw this on amazon and thought it was worth a try. Since the price was low I figured if we couldn't figure it out it would still be worth it. The machine is easy to use and honestly our dog has never looked better. It looks like a professional did it! I'm just happy that she won't get anymore heat rashes from her long hair.

Used these clippers on my young 3 year old filly, she was nervous at first but, the clippers were so easy to use around a green horse that she got used to them very easily. After an hour, she let trim her legs, and the best part- no cord to get tangled up in. Was too easy!!

Purchased in Aug, 2021. Decent clipper but the batteries really suck. Good thing it came with two batteries bcz clipping time is a max if 10 minutes before the red light illuminates. You have, maybe, two more minutes left. Odd thing, too, is that when you put the battery in the charger the green light comes on in approx 5 minutes - no way a full charge can occur by then. Not sure whether or not I'd purchase again.UPDATE: April 8, 2022 - These batteries are really getting worse as time goes on. Lucky if I can get 10 min. When recharging, the red light turns green quickly which is supposed to indicate full charge but the battery lasts far less than 10 minutes. I'm charging batteries for at least 8 hours to get ~ 10 minutes of run time. It is IMPOSSIBLE to use this to groom your whole dog at one time. I like the design of the clipper (blade angle, size, etc.) but would NOT purchase again due to the battery issue.
