Could it be the best remote ever!?
I was hesitant to buy this as I didn't think it would be comparable to the original Harmony One which I currently own two of for the past 10 years. They haven't given me any issue other than the common battery bloat issue, just needed to replace the battery and the remotes were good to go. But now the remote that I most frequently use in the living room some of the buttons on the remote are no longer being responsive. And with the wife complaining that the remote no longer works and refuses to watch TV down stairs because of it, I was forced to upgrade *wink. After researching the latest Logitech has to offer and I landed on the Harmony Elite. Functionality wise I thought I was going to be disappointed with less buttons and digital number buttons and boy was I wrong... To start with programming the remote was simple I was able to transfer over all my settings from my original Harmony One the only issue I had was the switch inputs didn't transfer over I had to set those again, but that was pretty easy. Overall I thought the setup was a snap especially if you previously owned a Harmony Remote. I have all my equipment located in a closet behind the TV, and with my previous Harmony One Setup I had an IR Receiver that sat on the entertainment center and the IR Hub in the closet. With the Harmony Elite I was able to remove the IR Receiver and I had to now place an IR Blaster for the TV to power on and the HUB in the closet. The cool thing, I was able to add double sided tape and tape the IR Blaster to the back of the TV with the Blaster facing downward, since IR bounces off everything it works perfectly. Why did I do this, since the remote has an IR emitter you ask? Because during the holidays my wife loves to decorate the entertainment center which normally ends up covering the TV's IR receiver and now I have the flexibility to control the IR signal out of the HUB's IR output and not the remotes . I also noticed that the IR Blaster also works as a IR Receiver, which I don't use but there is that option if needed. Now on to the fun after going through the setup and was sort of disappointed to the lack of buttons I noticed you could assign more than one function to one button! (Short press vs Long press) My mind was blown for a second, I could now program "Exit" short press as Back and "Exit" long press as Exit. I realized really the only thing I lost was the number buttons which I was ok with as the digital buttons are actually press responsive, this could be however an issue with people with larger hands as the digital numbers are small so keying each one will require precise touches. The other awesome feature was the ability to control the roku via Wifi, gone are the days of the occasional double skip because of the duplicated IR signal. I also noticed this remote is faster than the One when sending commanded to DirecTV receivers, there's no longer a delay. Overall awesome remote caught me by surprised, I couldn't let go of the Harmony One because I thought it was the best remote ever made but after using the Harmony Elite for a couple of days it's changed my mind. This has to be the best remote I've ever owned! Let's just hope it holds up 10 years like the previous Harmony One...

DO NOT BUY!
See update at end of review. When I first received the unit I had to do somersaults and make countless offerings to Buddha and a variety of deities just to get this darn thing set up to work with my simple device array of Samsung TV, Spectrum Cable Box, Roku, and Sony Sound Bar -- yes, that's it. No special or elaborate requirements. Just need to watch cable TV, watch ROKU channels, and have the sounds come out of my Sony sound bar. After initial setup everything worked perfectly for 3 months. Then the remote suddenly forgot how to turn things on and do the proper selections whether using either the one-press buttons or the on-screen menu. So I plugged it in to the computer to resync the settings. But Logitech had cleverly blown away my account and refused to recognize my old logon. I was asked to create a new account for Logitech's "new improved single LOGI LOGIN which requires setting up a new account. The new account has no memory of my Harmony device. You are forced to set up the remote again from scratch. There is no way to upload the device definitions that already exist in the remote -- no, that would be too easy. You will have to crawl behind your equipment cabinet and ferret out the model numbers of all the devices and figure out what needs to be set to which settings to recreate all the work that was previously done. Once that was accomplished I found that remote has had a minor stroke -- it only some of the settings required to watch the ROKU. I have to go the the device menu on the remote and force the TV to change to the proper HDMI setting. It was a simple thing that the remote forgot how to do and I just wanted to remind it by grabbing the stored settings from the MyHarmony app and resyncing them. Logitech assumes it's totally okay to waste hours of their customer's time; they think it's perfectly fine to screw existing customers just to to add some useless "feature" to their software. All they needed to do is allow me to use my old login and get my old stored settings -- but they don't do that. UPDATE: THIS DEVICE HAS OFFICIALLY DIED AND CANNOT BE RESUSCITATED AFTER ONLY 9 MONTHS. I tried re-syncing it with the stored settings from the Harmony App but whenever I press a function button such as "Watch TV", the remote simply reboots, shows the Logitech logo, then goes blank. None of my devices respond to it. So basically I threw $80 into the toilet. I will never again buy a Logitech product.

Compatible with everything that I own, works as described. Just a great remote from trusted brand
Just started using, but so far so good, mostly. It’s Renewed so don’t expect original packaging, also one of the IR blasters was missing and I am contacting seller, but not a game changer for my current needs. Truth is, it’s expensive but Harmony is still the best all-in-one remote there is, I had tried sofabaton, but there was compatibility issues and this was best, you could also look at the 950 model, which I would have chosen for my needs if I hadn’t bought this. While harmony is no longer produced, Logitech does a great job of keeping these remotes updated and for that I’m grateful. I wish they didn’t discontinue producing as there is no substitute for their remotes. Set up as a little tricky, make sure when you go to sync mode you press the pair button on the back of the hub again. That was the biggest issue that I had as it wasn’t explained well in the set up site. I almost returned the item because I thought it was defective then realized that there was a step not well explainedin the set up. Product works exactly as it should, there were no noticeable scratches or dents and one of the best parts is it has a built-in rechargeable battery and base to charge it. I am actually using this to replace another Logitech harmony, remote, that used rechargeable batteries, but the charger input broke on that. This seems to be much more sturdier and expected to last for many years.

Perfect - it can have a sleep button too
So I have Antenna TV, Dish/Satellite, 4k DVD, 4k Fire stick, xbox, and remote controlled speakers. From 6 remotes, I'm down to two - harmony and the fire stick ( the fire stick isn't IR ). This remote 100% flawlessly replaces the 5 others. It's super easy to set-up and use, but there are a few tips I have to make your life easier if you want/use the sleep timer. Also, if a button doesn't quite work right, it's super easy to update the button ( for example my aspect ratio did the audio, and the audio did the aspect - I was easily able to swap these settings after figuring out the sleep timer ). My setup has my TV sending all audio, through an optical out, to a receiver. Step-up, add batteries to the remote Download and install the MyHarmony Desktop App from logitech's website ( myharmony ). Open up the app. Next, connect up the remote via USB. If it doesn't show up as connected, then press the top left power button. If that still doesn't connect up, then unplug and plug it back it. If you're asked what you use for "Watch TV" just add the TV - adding devices is super easy, as is modifying activities. Skip/do-it-later the "Watch a movie" and "Listen to music". Next add your tv first. Take note of how your TV changes inputs and what they are. Does it list all inputs? For example, my TV has Antenna, AV, Component, Hdmi 1-4, USB. I can't remove the inputs I don't use, so when switching inputs from Antenna to hdmi1, I need to scroll past the av and component. If you're asked what you use for "Watch TV" just add the TV. Skip/do-it-later the "Watch a movie" and "Listen to music". Now you should be at the main screen. Click the "Change or Fix what buttons do". This is the key thing to adding in your TVs sleep timer. In the middle, section, click on the drop down list, in the device section, click on your TV, then click Go. On the bottom left, click on "Add or Fix a command". From here, it walks you through how to have it "learn" the sleep command - You point the TV remote at the back of the harmony 665 remote, and boom - it learned the sleep command. Now add it to Page 1 or 2 or 3, in a convenient location. Personally I have Top Row: Toggle Power, Sleep Bottom row: Info, return/back/exit. Click OK, and then click the Sync on the Top Right. Now you can go back and add in your other devices and activities. Once you've added your tv, music, streaming, movies, gaming, etc, you can go back into the button section, and add the TV sleep timer to the other activities. Just know that you'll need to add a "toggle power" option to all your devices, as when your TV sleeps, the dvd, cable box, speakers, etc might not turn off. So in the morning, you might just need to turn your TV back on. It's awesome, I love it. Update: So I discovered the help feature at the top of the screen. Basically, because I use the sleep timer, it doesn't know I just need to turn a few of the devices back on. The help will cycle through questions about what's on/off to fix the sleep timer. It's also useful as the Amazon firestick just assumes you only have that one device and you're not switching between devices... When I switch to the firestick, it turns off my tv and audio receiver. So it's now even easier to turn the tv and audio back on after switching to the firestick. I really love this remote.

Good enough but not like new
Okay I'll start with the good. The remote control's everything entertainment-wise I have. TV, cable, game consoles and Roku all good so I've consigned multiple remotes to a drawer to gather dust. It does work well. The not so great - I bought a reconditioned version to save a little $ and the blurb on Amazons page says "like new" for the remote and hub. That's not quite true. The hub looked in good condition but you could tell the remote had been used pretty well. Nicks and scratches so not an accurate description to my mind. Also, I never received any setup instructions so had to go looking on the Logitech website which isn't the most intuitive. Anyway, once I downloaded the Logitech app to my phone, the hub was fairly easy to set up. I just followed the on-screen prompts. It did freeze up on me a couple of times (so I had to power off the hub for 30 seconds and restart my phone) and it took at least three attempts to download the settings from the hub to the remote as it wouldn't connect but it all went well in the end. Probably took me 3 hours to get everything right but worth it for me.

Perfect Replacement for Worn Older Harmony Remote
The 650 remote arrived in what appeared to be a factory sealed package. Inside were the remote, cable, instructions and two batteries. The batteries in the package were old and corroded, to I tossed them and installed two new batteries. The remote started so I plugged it into my laptop and installed my previous Harmony setup from an older remote that is finally failing. Everything transferred to the new remote perfectly. This doesn't seem like a refurbished remote, rather it seems to be a product that never sold and was sitting on a shelf for an extended period. Since it seems Logitech / Harmony no longer make these remotes and I was extremely happy with my older Harmony remote, this was the perfect replacement. The only issue was the old batteries and I'm not removing any stars for that. This remote is new and works perfectly.

Easy setup, works well!
This is for Logitech 915-000237 - Harmony Ultimate Home Touch Screen Remote - Black (Renewed). Plain box, contained 2 AC adapters, remote w/charging station, hub, and 2 'blasters'. No instructions or anything, but easy to find support online and via Harmony app (I have ios). Using this remote to control a Vizio TV E70, Sony Blu Ray U700, Yamaha Receiver TSR-7850, and xfinity DVR. For set up, all I had to do was connect the hub and charging station to outlets. Download Harmony app to my phone, then stepped thru the setup via the app on my phone which connected the hub to my wifi, asked what components I wanted to control (with model numbers), and what the various inputs were for watching dvr, blu ray, pc. After that was done, it ran thru some checks, turning things on and off to confirm hub and blasters were positioned correctly and the correct commands were being sent. The only thing that I had to do manually was reprogram the 'ON' command for my TV, which was easy once I found out how to do it via google. Took about 10 minutes total, and I had a remote that would automatically turn everything on and make the right selections to watch the dvr or blue ray. Control using the 'activity' feature is very convenient. Once set up the remote knows which buttons (ie: volume, fast forward, channel up, etc..) to assign to which device when you are watching your dvr or blu ray, or whatever you have set up. In terms of price, it wasn't much more for the touchscreen version, maybe $20, but I do like it because while watching TV, it has icons for whatever you select as your favorite channels. So all you have to do is touch an icon for the channel and it comes up. No surfing thru menus or guides to get to a channel that you know you want to go to. One touch and your channel comes up. You can do pretty much everything, including the favorite channel feature on your phone via the app, but I prefer the actual remote. It has a nice backlight, and for normal things like volume, mute, ff, rew, pause, it's nicer to just hit the button by feel rather than unlock your phone and look at your phone screen. It all works on wifi, so you have to have that obviously, and you don't have to point the remote at anything at all for it to work.
