Review update: all my issues were the result of user error and medical issues broke down and went to Dr who believes I pulled and aggrevated my ankle muscle while wearing the thinner sole shoes, my Ortho ordered x-rays and a growing bone spur on my heel was discovered so the pain in my feet have nothing to do with the newbalance shoes.I now where a pair of ankle socks and no more rubbing my skin of the back of my ankle and 2pair of socks cushions my little toe from the composite toes......and my feet feel better even knowing I have ongoing medical issues causing them pain and discomfortOriginal review:First off.....I have actually medically diagnosed feet issues so please remember this when your reading my reviewMy mom (yes I'm almost 39 but when my ex husband of 17 years left with all our money and items of value while kidnapping our kids I did break down and ask my mom for help) spent $3k buying me super fancyshoe inserts that actually helped my feet feel better, I've had them for a couple years now and it's been life-changingI was taking this for granted and buying cheapwalmart boots for my warehouse job unaware newbalance (the brand recommended by past podiatrist) made boots so when I found them on sale and further clearances cause it didn't come in the original box I jumped on them,they were the same price if not less than 2 pair of the cheap Walmart boots that only lasted about 3 months before completely falling apartA coworker ordered the wrong size of a different brand of shoes and gave them to me, the soles were industeuctible and flexible but still so thin my feet instantly hated them on the plants concrete floors so when I found these boots I jumped on them and I do not regret to t but t it has been almost a week of wearing them and my feet still hurt despite the snug and firm fit making them feel amazingThe composit soul rubs on my baby toe and I honestly regret not spending more time breaking them in so that is my faultOn a positive note, my 50 something year I old boyfriend loved how mine looked so much he had me buy him a pair, his first ts perfectly, no rubbing Ng toes, did nothing to break them in and has had absolutely not foot pain at all.....so yeah, that's a punch in the gut for me that my feet are such premadannas

Most of the time when I get new work shoes or boots they are heavy, bulky and not great till broken in. This pair have a wide toe box, very comfy and first day had zero issues wearing so far. They are very light to boot. So they will become my go to for now on. I go through a pair about every 10 to 12 months due to walking so much. Only thing I may change is new wax laces to keep them tighter.

Nice shoes but, had to return them because they run small

The have a wide toe box. I wanted boots with protective toe anti slip that felt similar to wearing a sneaker. I already wear new balance sneakers. So tired of even expensive "good boots" hurting my feet and knees at the end of the day. These are heavy duty but light weight. Comfortable and my feet and knees don't ache after 8 hours on concrete. I'm 5'7" and 294lbs (yes barney rubble). I'm so very happy.

The oversight regarding the sizing with the composite toe is a major flaw. This unexpected issue, especially for safety shoes, raises concerns about the product's design and attention to user comfort. It's disappointing to encounter sizing problems for the first time with safety footwear, impacting the overall satisfaction and usability.

These are more comfortable than any ankle boots I've worn and fit great. The notch in back feels great when you sit down at a desk unlike other shoes that would have to bend and put pressure on your ankle.

I wear a size 16 shoe. These are very heavy. Not very attractive. But they are a solid well made shoes thast is very comfortable. I wear braces so having a toe compartment large enough for my brace was important. These worked out great. They do not have any of that crappy woven material to wear out so I am expecting this leather or fake leather shoes to last a long time.
