This is not the type of book that I would normally pick up and read, but once I did, I read it all the way through in one weekend.The characters were well developed, interesting, funny and authentic. I found myself engaged with them and quite curious as to how events in the book were going to unfold and how the characters were going to react.Once I finished reading "caffe' americano", I felt satisfied and eager for a follow-up sequel.EV

This book was a very interesting look into the life of a pharmaceutical rep: intrigue, espionage and cutthroat competition. At the same time, the main character is reconnecting with an old friend who wants a relationship with her. The story is perfect for Christian readers, as it has no vulgarity or sex and has Christian references throughout. The characters are real and easily related to.

Caffe Americano serves up an exciting blend of suspense, humor, conflict, betrayal, and yes, romance! Sales rep Allie Hendrickson's new boss, Cassandra Hartwell, is the wicked witch of Horizon Pharmaceuticals. She's out to destroy Allie's reputation and her chance to reach the top in her career. Add to this roller coaster ride an out-of-the-blue roommate (Allie's meddling cousin, Gretchen), and Andrew Gallagher's fervent and frustrating pursuit of Allie, and you won't be able to stop turning the pages until you find out how all the drama ends.

Caffe Americano has style, humor, romance and some great little twists that keep your attention, making it almost impossible to put the book down. The characters are all very different, but throughout the story blended well. I enjoyed and loved every bit of it and am looking forward to her next one!

I loved the book and have bought 5, one for me and the rest for my children. It was very well written and a pleasure to read.

Caffe Americano..........What a great read! Intrigue, suspense, witty, romantic and lots of humor. I found myself chuckling out loud in some parts. This was so real to life with it's ups and downs as we endeavor to adjust to different personalities we come across. Sherre Cook's style of writing and story telling kept me flipping from page to page unable at times to put this book down. I finished it in one weekend! Now I'm waiting on its follow up. What does ahppen with Allie and Andrew??????
