Radiator Massey Ferguson 65 Massey Harris 50 182456M91 184525M91

Worked our ok. Slight differences from original. Bottom hose pipe was at different angle. Had to modify left side of shroud to get bottom hose to clear. As is, bottom hose would have come in contact with sharp shroud edge.

The first thing I noticed when unboxing this radiator was a rattling noise. I shook it until whatever was loose came out. It turned out to be a large piece of solder. Then I tried to take off the radiator cap. It was extremely difficult because the cap was put on while the radiator was wet with plain water and copper corrosion "welded" the cap onto the inside of the radiator. There was green corrosion inside and I had to replace the cap because the rubber seal tore on removal.

The radiator fits but did not have the mounting brackets on the bottom that bolt to the frame of the tractor. I had to buy some 1.5"X1/8" metal and fabricate (bend and drill) and weld it onto the steel frame piece that is attached to the bottom of the radiator tank. Luckily, that frame piece had enough clearance from the corners of the radiator itself that I could weld the new brackets onto it without damaging the radiator body itself.
