Great for boats
Got this for our boat engine. Seems to work well without the squeaking and chirping of the aftermarket one that we had on previously.

Don't buy this. It's not a proper replacement
This is not a proper replacement for the original Volvo Penta belt. It is thicker, shorter and stiffer. I probably could have forced it on the pullies, but it didn't even clear them with the tensioner maxed. Expect a short lived tensioner if you use this, and perhaps worse.

Think twice about aftermarket belts.
This belt is shorter than the volvo belt. NOT a direct replacement as advertized. I made it work but it will put additional stress on my tensioner. Quality is TBD. I will stick with oem going forward and would advise orhers to do the same.

Do not buy these for you boat!!!!!
Thames’s belts are not designed for a Volvo boat engine. Take my word for it!!!! They are too small and too rigid. You will mess up your tensioner. Do not buy this for your boat. Please buy the oem Volvo belt. These are not it!!!!!!

Not as described "buyer beware"
This belt does not fit a Volvo baot engine it's to short. Amazon should question the seller. Said it was direct replacement for a 5.7 Volvo. Noticed that several other people have same complaint.
