2020 Car Stereo Android Head Unit,Eonon 9 Inch Android 9.0 Car Radio,Car Stereo Applicable to BMW 3 Series with Navigation Support Carplay/Android Auto/WiFi/Fast Boot/DVR/Backup Camera-GA9350B

I have been using this head unit for about three weeks now and I have to say, it's not as much as it's cracked up to be. I bought this for my e46 because it is one of the only head units advertised to be plug and play, and fit nicely with the rest of the dash which is exactly what I wanted. Before ordering this, I contacted Eonon to ensure that it would fit in my car and they told me it would. I bought this and when I started installing it, I realized that I could not install the head unit without cutting into my dash which was very frustrating considering I was told it would fit in my car. A few cuts later with a dremel, and it fit rather well. Other than that, installation wasn't that bad, the most difficult part was running the wires to the mic and GPS receiver underneath the trim. A word of advice, place the Wifi receiver close to the head unit because the cable is only like 4 ft long, unlike the GPS cable. On another note, the equalizer app that comes stock on this has no affect on the amount of bass that comes through your speakers, I've tried everything.I would also recommend getting the nova launcher on this immediately because the stock GUI/launcher is garbage. There's no customization and you can't get rid of the apps on your home screen.I also have a dash cam and backup camera to install still with this that I got for $1 a piece from the seller and I will update this review with pictures and more details when I get that done.

Bought this knowing it was a pretty cheap android headunit and my expectations were accurate. But still a few things surprised me that are a bit of a bummer:- The screen display angles are terrible. Because this is so down low in the car, you get weird colors on maps and stuff, so you have to scoot down to see the correct colors- The touch accuracy is not super great, it registers the wrong press sometimes- Even though they say the accessories are free, you have to message them for a code and they end up being around $1.50. NOT FREE- The OBD2 dongle is terrible, always having connection issues. Maybe worth it at $1.65 but I'd be furious if I paid $35 for it- Even though this is made for the e46, I still had to do some trimming to get the thing to fit completely flush

Overall I am satisfied with the product. Does what it says it will do well - honestly does much better than expected for being a budget unit.Best to watch a few YouTube videos on the install for dealing with the cars trim pieces and fitment. Unfortunately I did have to trim the dash a bit, otherwise directly plug and play unit.

To be perfectly honest these products are a bit on the buggy side in terms of assembly. The first one I received did not work properly. I returned it and took a chance on another, and this one worked excellent so far. It can be a bit discouraging if you are trying to get a car assembled. But it does work rather well once installed and you work out the bugs.So if you have the time to take the chance and return maybe one or two LOL you’ll end up with a decent unit.

The media could not be loaded.  Sound quality is amazing and install was a true plug and play - instruction included were clear and easy to be read - I also got myself the front and rear cameras and they work perfectly - i just had to pay shipping for those items as they were shipped separately but it was only like 3 dollars so it’s basically free -

Instructions aren't terribly clear. Fit isn't entirely flush with my dash board. Seems like a nice enough unit though.

I bought this as a replacement for an older Eonon unit I had that was getting too slow to use. I was really excited for the unit because it has android auto and really did look great installed in my E46. Unfortunately the unit was so unreliable I ended up returning it and putting the factory radio back in (yes, it was that bad). The unit froze and crashed constantly while driving and the only way to reset it was to turn off the car at a stop light. Sometimes even that would not turn it off and you would have to pull the fuse for the radio otherwise it would stay on even after you turned off the car. As much as I wanted to love this unit, I just can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone.

The unit works fantastic and was very simple to install. Very pleased. Customer service is also very helpful for any issues you may run into. Very responsive and polite.
