What I love about these is they're practically unbreakable, very light, and being plain white they go with almost any table setting. This is a good size for snacks or dessert or light sandwiches. I have the whole line and really like the deep "Super Soup/Cereal" bowl which is a generous 28-oz. size, and the 20-oz. salad/pasta bowl. Those don't come in the basic set & have to be purchased separately. I had those blue & white Currier and Ives dishes and finally got fed up with how heavy and easily chipped they were, so they went to the thrift shop and I replaced them all with these Vitrelle dishes. I don't regret it! They're great in the microwave and dishwasher too.

Not understanding if 6-3/4-inch meant 6 plates that are 3/4 inches thick or 1 plate that is 6.3/4 inches in diameter, I came to the reviews to see what was said.. You can see for yourself they are saying they got 6 platesI'm thinking.... well, 7.4 dollars is a heck of a lot to pay for one very small plate...but on the other hand, it's not much to pay for 6 plates.. But people are saying in the reviews here that they got 6 plates when ordering the 6-3/4- inch plates ...still being skeptical ..I contacted Amazon and ask.. Is the Corelle 6 dash 3/4 dash inch bread and butter plate mean 6 individual plates or 1 plate that is 6.3/4 inches?.. I said I want to make sure now because the way it reads could mean either...She said hold on and I will find out.. When she got back with me ...she said it means there are 6 individual plates.. I ask her twice to make sure. She promised me there were 6 plates.WELL I GOT ONE PLATE! ..Very expensive for one little bread and butter plate!!I called Amazon and was told it was my own fault because it obviously reads one 1 and 3/4 inch plate and unless I want to pay shipping charges to send it back I will not get a refund or I can pay 35.20 for 5 more plates..lol I don't think so amazon. I went to wallyworld and gave 2.50 a plate and got the needed 5 there to make the six plates I wanted. Why would I pay over 7 dollars for one plate here when I can get all I want for 2.50 a peace? I wanted the convenience of ordering online because I'm crippled but next time something is not plainly written I will know not to purchase it on amazon.

These are great for every day use, but do get quite hot in the microwave. Other than that, they don't chip or break at least not when dropped on hardwood.

Wanted these plates and had a different time finding them. So happy amazon carried them.

What can I say? Corelle is great and doesn’t break. My Dad has Parkinson’s and was starting to break all of his beautiful Fiesta Ware, which was too heavy for him anyway. I love the Fiesta Ware and was just trying to save it so I impulsively bought some Corelle dishes for my Dad. It is amazingly tough! He drops it in the sink all the time and it doesn’t break! It is lightweight and he loves the simplicity of all white dishes. Plus, they are so thin you can fit a lot of dishes in a very small space.LB

I thought I was purchasing the smaller dinner plate or maybe its called a salad plate. These are the size of a saucer, however, my MIL likes them so I gave them to her.

Ordered a pack of 6 for $15.12. Received only 1 plate. Listing has been removed. Now I Have to go through the effort of mailing one plate back. What a joke.
