Works for better mileage and a bit more crisp throttle response. WATCH OUT FOR OIL THOUGH!!
Good product, gave me about 1-2 MPG better mileage on an 1,110 mile trip to Florida in a 2016 Yukon Denali XL (average 21 mpg at 79-81 mph)…hard to install but that is not the filter’s fault (GM engineering). Word of caution, watch out, it comes very well oiled. My engine started lugging it idle and turns out some of the oil had gotten on the mass airflow sensor. Easy to clean but still, be aware. Overall worth the money, especially with todays high gas prices. An engine tune will really wake up your car with this, I’m doing one soon

Worth it
Going green is absolutely worth it! I have a 2017 V6 Silverado and I saw my MPG go up by almost a full mile. Definitely worth $40 over the life of your vehicle. It fit great too, nice tight seal.

Forget K&N or AEM
Better air flow than K&N oiled filterBetter air flow than AEM dry filter.yes this is an oiled filter, but the quality compared to the AEM (what i currently had in my truck) was a night and day difference. Will buy one for my girls car next

Will never run a different air filter from this day forward until further noted. I've had other intakes in the past, but for just a filter swap, nothing else can provide you the gains to be had with one of these. Hands down every car should run one.

Excellent Upgrade over a factory filter (& the K&N filter in my opinion).....
Excellent craftsmanship... Fits in a 2012 Tahoe (with a 5.3) perfectly. Installed with an Airraid jr kit, and could feel the extra power, as well as saving about .5 mpg at the pump..I've been using K&N for years, but I'm now officially a Green Filter fanboy.

Best Buy for the money
Gained tenth of a second in my quarter mile time and improved gas mileage by 6 mpg very happy with this purchase

Stops rocks but not much else.
Width and length are just right. Gave a nice note under the hood.The bad? These types of filters are not good at catching fine dirt particles. Holding it up to a light one can easily see gaps in the mesh. In some places large enough to allow small sand particles through. Also the gasket is thinner than some OEM's and may not seal properly in the airbox. I noticed on mine that under hard acceleration I could hear a squealing noise under the hood caused by air being pulled around the seal instead of through the filter element. Changing back to an OEM filter stopped the squealing.
