Roper Rhodes Traditional Solid Oak Soft Close Toilet Seat

Great seat but the screws that came with it were not long enough. I had to go to the hardware shop to get longer ones but they didn’t have the same width. All a bit of a faf but the seat itself is perfect. It looks good. Soft close works well.

The 45mm bolt to fasten the seat to the toilet is too short for the thickness of my pan. I phoned and emailed tech support at RoperRhodes who took two further calls and a week to tell me they don’t have any longer supports. I’ve gone back to them to ask for the supplier of the fixing and the size as in M6 so I could source my own. Rubbish customer service nice seat for my butt though 👍

Good quality, easy to fit. Would give it 5 stars but time will tell if it lasts.

Quality product from a quality supplier. Genuine Roper Rhodes - lovely wood and a pleasure to rest on. Expensive item but I bought it 8 months ago and have no regrets. It stays firmly fixed and wipes perfectly clean all times. I will never go back to the cheaper £35 plastic seat that stains and requires renewing every 2 years. This one is made to last.

The wood on the roper rhodes toilet seat is excellent and worth the extra money. It is easy to clean looks excellent and feels good. it was quick delivery.

After going through a number of laminated toilet seats, we bit the bullet and invested in this solid wood unit and it has survived!!

Damping failed in two weeks. Location moves. Not the best for this price. Bought cheaper ones with better fixings. 6mm fixing screws too small. Rubbers under seat should be full width of seat.
