The cord itself feels extremely durable - it has a tight, braided cable with a stainless steel cap on the end where it connects to the computer. The color of the brushed steel is nearly identical to my space gray Macbook Pro (just a hint darker). It's also a GREAT length. There's plenty of extra cord so I never feel tied down - I can easily move around my desk.I am so thankful I found this cord. I have a Macbook with a connectivity issue in one of the USB-C ports - when I use a short dongle, they easily lose connection causing my monitor, webcam, and microphone to disconnect. Definitely awkward during online meetings! But because of my job, it's difficult for me to find time where I could be without a computer for a week for it to be repaired. This extension cable has been a godsend because it allows me to place the dongle far from the computer and I haven't had any issues with connection since I started using it.

I recently upgraded to a new Galaxy and the cable that came with the charger was too short. I like to use my phone from my bed so this seemed like a good way to extend the cable. I really like the braided cord - it seems very durable and sturdy. I have used this everyday since I got it, and it has been tremendously useful for reading Kindle books in bed and on my trip this past weekend when we stayed at an inn where the electric outlet also wasn't close enough to the bed. The only minus is that as you can see from the picture the USB doesn't insert completely into the extension - it might be normal as I haven't used a product like this before, but it would be nice if it fit all the way in. This hasn't affected the charging rate though - the fast charger works just fine.

This cable far exceeded my expectations. I've ordered many, many "braided USB" cables over the years, and generally all of them under the $30 range are no better than a dollar store rubber cable -- sure, they may have a braided jacket, but the connectors and internal cable are of such poor quality I'm lucky to get more than a couple weeks out of them before they no longer work.With this experience then, comes an expectation -- I just assume I'll have to replace the cable sooner rather than later, and so will usually order several at a time and carry a backup in my backpack for when the first one inevitably fails.This cable however, has far exceeded those expectations -- it's far thicker than nearly every other type C I've seen out there, the connectors are solid and machined aluminum, with great retention when plugged into devices. Being an extension cable, I expected a loss in voltage or data speed, however I've been pleased to discover I experienced neither with this cable.

The good news is that it passes power which was the first criteria. The bad news is that I bought this with the intention of locating my USB hub a bit farther from my MacBook Pro for a more tidy luck. Unfortunately the MacBook Pro now does not recognize some of the peripherals plugged into my hub with this extension cable in between. So I have stop using this cable.

I got this because the USB C port on my desktop PC is in the back and I needed an extension cable to be able to make use of that easily. I use this with a USB C Hub and it works exactly as expected. I seem to be getting full speed and functionality of my PC and now I have a way to finally use the USB C port on my PC. I was worried about compatibility and speed but I didn't experience any issues yet so far. I will update this review if there are any issues.

Good quality. Does the job well. The cable is not so supple though, so it is a bit unwieldy cord management-wise.

I bought to use as an extension cable for connecting my MacBook Pro to an external 4K monitor. It is excellent for that application and very heavy duty.It gives you an extra 6 Feet to reach your destination. This cable is constructed to last. It comes with a nylon cable wrap to increase durability and make it look nicer.The cable is very stiff and really heavy. It's the double-edged sword factor.

I bought this as USB C extender for my windows laptop which worked perfectly. wire strength also seems very durable and hard which will not be damaged easily. I was not sure whether this chord will support as a USB C extender, but I find this is the perfect as well as cheap as well as compatible, durable USB C extender I ever bought.
