Be carefull
To start the directions were generic. You need to figure out a lot on your own. Then you have to get the directions online to figure how to use the computer. Even then the directions were not a help. The biggest problem I had was with quality control. They must have been off the day they put my box together. Screws were half screwed in. One of the pads that screw into one of the arms was missing the plastic protection for the electronic arm. Over all I like the product. When you spend this kind of money you want it to be right.

Great, fun workout. You get out of it what you put in.
The combination of workouts offered is great. I've owned mine for a little over a month now, and still look forward to my workout on this every day. This is great for a good workout, and you will get out of it what you put into it (the same workout can be very intense or not intense at all depending on how much intensity *you* put into it.). The semi-cons: What this is not good for is serious MA or MMA training: there just aren't enough angles to attack from. Also, the kick pads can take little more than a tap or it will register as striking too hard and interrupt the workout.

They have discontinued the Home unit, but still a very good item. Instructions were good and the item is heavy. Honestly haven't used a lot, but it is good for cardio.

Monitor assembly to frame is of very poor construction. Definitely not recommended

This is 2 part review.ReInvision is now the official distributor for the home Nexersys units. Their customer service is exceptional. There were some issues with the delivery company (not related to the seller or item) and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They were also incredibly helpful when I had questions about the product. As for the Nexersys trainer, it certainly has exceeded my expectations. This is not a boxing or MMA training device, it is a full training system. The program has a physical trainer who sets up workout routines for you and progresses the level of difficulty as it monitors your improvement. This includes technique, core training, cardio, stretching etc. Its like having a trainer come to your home and provide a custom workout because each user has their own profile, even my 8 year old can use it because they have a child setting. The item is not cheap, but well worth the investment and it includes life long program updates.

Updated item review post shipping problems
I had previously reviewed this item based on delivery problems. The original item was delivered both late and damaged (shipper issue, not Amazon or Nexersys). Amazon was helpful in scheduling a replacement item that also arrived late. But now that I have it and have used it, the Nexersys is an excellent addition to our home gym. It is helpful to have two people to move and assemble, but does not take too long. I have used it for several weeks now on sparring, strike training, core and cardio and it's what I expected...which is to say it's great. The core and cardio are challenging and the striking takes some time to get used to, but is fun and a great workout. I have a little training experience it keeps coming in a the right level. My wife is enjoying it as well.

Awesome workout when it works. Last update bricked both my units.

It's quite good. You can focus on non-pugilist activities - various cardio exercises and muscle-toning or start the kicks and punches. Provides a viable alternative to Kinect (although it would be even more interesting if it were connected to Kinect). The feature that in order to move between the menus you have to punch the pads is clever and hilarious. For kids, I would be glad to see it jazzed up with some kind of games, like spelling or alien invaders, although I realize that for a purist perspective of a boxing enthusiast, this might not be such a good idea.
