Mine just might be a lemon, but it must be plugged in to a USB adapter into an A/C outlet to work. Once it's unplugged, it shuts off. Then there's the soaking of the cotton filters. There are 2 long ones and 3 short ones. While the mini Portable Humidifier converts to 2 sizes, (one is approx. 7" & the other 4") the 7" size fits into tube as seen in the description and the 4" size fits when the tube is halved (2 pieces). The 7" fits into a 16.9 oz. bottle of water & the shorter fits into a coffee mug size vessel. Charging time is approx. 4 hrs (mine doesn't charge at all) according to the instructions. If the cotton filter isn't completely saturated, it won't work at all. Be mindful that when putting the Mini Portable Humidifier into a bottle, you MUST spill out about an inch or so of water so it doesn't overflow. That being said, the mist is weak and must be placed directly under your nose to anything out of it. I do not recommend this product.

Quiet, works without any problems. Our whole family loves this cute little humidifier. It fits nicely on my desk at work, where I add a drop of essential oil into the water and my cubicle is not just humidified but also smells great. My daughter uses it with just clean water, while reading. She puts this humidifier right next to her on the accent table. It will be especially useful during dry winter months, so I am planning on purchasing another one.

Small, packs easily, cleans easily, and quiet. No complaints.
