Well worth the price!
Tamiya makes a great product. Does exactly what it is intended to do! Hold your kit in place as you spray away. You can paint your entire car kit with this handy tool.I recommend it …and for under 30 dollars out the door you can’t beat it.

I love Tamiya.
Tamiya is a fantastic hobby brand. Everything from them is excellent quality, and these little rotating paint tables are no exception. They're definitely worth the money, imo. Especially if you're airbrushing models or subassemblies.

Excellent Paint Stand
After seeing several model car builders on YouTube using these Tamiya paint stands, I decided to try them out. WOW! They've made my model building life so much easier. They're both easy to use, and with the smaller parts it's so much more convenient to clip the parts tree on here and hit them with a couple of squirts of spray paint instead of hours of hand painting. Time saver! The other stand made specifically for painting vehicle bodies makes painting so much easier as well. You can rotate the stand on its base and pick it up for easy spray painting of the body at any angle. I've been building models for over 30 years, and these paint stands are a game changer!

Great product for small scale painting
This is one of the most useful gadgets a model builder or anyone doing painting on a small scale can own. Painting gets messy at times, and trying to hold small parts with tweezers (or worse yet, your fingers) while painting them will yield poor results--e.g. fingerprints in the paint--and more of a mess than is necessary. These two turntables (and there are two in the package, not one) will hold a wide range of parts for brush or airbrush painting. The larger turntable is just over six inches across and has a series of holes and slots to hold spring-loaded metal clips (four are included) or pieces of sprue or old paintbrush handles or whatever to which small parts are attached. The smaller turntable has a more specific purpose, that of holding model car bodies for painting, Tamiya's line of 1/24 car models comes to mind. This small turntable has two springy metal brackets which can be adjusted to hold objects like model car bodies, the hulls of model tanks or ships, and probably a lot of other items as well.Tamiya also makes alligator clips which are designed to fit the slots in the larger turntable and I got a set of four of those as they looked like a useful addition--note that these are different from the four clips included with the turntable set. Someone commented that the turntable rotates so freely that an airbrush can cause it to rotate when you don't want it to--seems like a piece of masking tape would fix that....Prices for this product vary widely, so shop around. I got mine through Amazon for half what some hobby or craft stores charge, so check various sources before you buy. This is a really useful product however, so at some point any modeler should consider adding it to their tool collection.

THis stand is just awesome!! And it comes with TWO stands not one!!
I was really waffling on 4 or 5 stars on this'nOk, first important disclaimer. I am not a pro or college educated artist, so read my review with that in mind.I paint Mostly war hammer 28mm figures and the associated armor an such of late, but this thing has become a critical part of most any model or little project I end up spending time on. I had thought it would just come with the one large stand but the bo actually had two stands, a large one that I use for setting a batch of space marines or orc around and the other one that I've found more suitable to vehical and large parts that need a bit of bracing to stay put whilst painting.I use these for both brush painting and air brushing and I'm here to tell ya, it is handy as heck!!One minor draw back is that especially the large round one the bottom will drop out of it if you don't pick it up by the very base. Not at all a big deal, but be advised.THis is another one of those tools that at a certain point I have come to see as vital to this hobby. I also use these same stands for building balsa stick models, sometimes for electtronics projects, they are great stands!Note:I'm pretty severely moibility challenged compliments of teh bad guys in Iraq so in my particular case I REALLY needed a high quality small stand I could use on my lap mmmm work space board thing-ee (in a past life it was a Ikea book case shelf board) and it's awesome for that. It doesn't take up much space, is easy to move and set around, heavy enough that it doesn't go skittering an sliding off my board when I lean over to get stuff or look behind. ANyone chair bound is likely to like these things, IMHO.

Cool Model Holder
I've been waiting for this model holder for a while. It's a perfect way to paint your models. The price was just fine. You can go to other sites they are more, plus you have to pay shipping, which really drives the price up.

Best quality paint stand
The Tamiya stand is the best choice for painting model cars. Holds the body securely which is very important if you are painting a rare hard to replace kit or a resin body as you do not want it to fall off and get cracked. Th clips are great for holding smaller parts too.
