In black box mode, it is recommended to use the VAS (Voice Activating System) and the loop recording modes. About 2 hours of sun light a day is enough to recharge the recorder's rechargeable battery. In VAS mode, the rechargeable battery provides 7 days of power supply for the recorder that allows skipping the days without sunshine. The recorder can be connected to PC via USB port with the supplied cable.
