Quality Control Issues
These blackout white curtains from H. Versailtex come with this promise on the packaging: "Roll out the red carpet and give guests that 'wow' feeling every time they walk through your door and window."First of all, let me say that I hope that none of my guests ever walk through one of my windows; although that would certainly give them that 'wow' feeling more than these curtain panels.I was pleased when I got them and felt the considerable thickness of the fabric. They are not total blackout, but they certainly block a lot of light. They are not actually white, but more of a dove grey which was acceptable. I like the idea that you can hang them through the pocket or using the tabs on the back. All good so far. The bad started after I put them up on the rod. I realized that one side was not hanging as low as the other side. Thinking it was my rod hanging acumen, I pulled out a level and verified that the rod was indeed perfectly level. Now I'm a slow learner so I thought maybe if I just tug the one side a bit, I can even it with the other. Bad idea. The bracket pulled out of the wall around the top nail, taking a bit of plaster and part of my security deposit with it.Not needing to be hit on the head with a brick, I quickly removed the rod, amidst a torrent of words I cannot repeat here, and pulled my "red carpet" curtains off it. I laid them out on the floor to verify my slowly dawning fear that I had just put a hole in my wall where there should be none, due to the panels being two different lengths. Bingo! There was a half inch disparity between the two panels' lengths. (Please see attached pics)Thank you so much Versailtex for this wonderful learning experience with your Made In China product. I will have to see if I can return your lovely curtains or if it will be just as cost efficient to keep them and 'wow' my guests as they walk through my door by using these shoddily made panels as door mats on which they can wipe their feet.

Inaccurate description
Just received and not yet impressed. Measured the panel and they are not the measurements posted in the description. They also are NOT blackout. Room darkening, yes, but not even close to blackout. Have to see how they look when hung but a good chance these are heading back to the warehouse...

Color bled onto white wall
We bought these in 2018 for my son's room in charcoal gray. They certainly block out light. I recently decided to paint his room while he was gone and was surprised to see they had left a dark shadow around both windows that only partially washed off. I was able to paint over it successfully, but if this was fresh paint I would have been pretty annoyed. I have since washed them in cold water twice and dried in high heat to set the color. Rubbing them on a white rag shows that appears to have worked. They held up well in the wash but such item should be colorfast when sold. Most people do not wash curtains prior to hanging them.

Worked exactly as I had wanted them to
These curtains were perfect. I have a room that is almost completely windows. It's difficult to watch tv because of the glare. Also it is very hot in there in the summer and very cold in the winter. I put these curtains up on the one wall and hadn't even gotten to the second wall of windows before having to do something else. When I got up the next morning i could feel that the temperature hadn't dropped in this room overnight as it had been doing all week. When I turned the TV on to watch the morning news...no glare on the tv.

Great For DIY RV Blackout Curtains
I ordered the largest size they offer and cut them to make curtains for our RV. The curtain panels have rod pockets in the top and bottom, I used inexpensive 7/16" tension rods from walmart. Some of my windows needed 42" rods and some needed 12". I was able to cut these curtains so that I didn't have to sew at all. I applied Fray Check to the freshly cut edges to prevent fraying and to avoid sewing a hem. If you don't apply fray check or hem, it will fray. I used the chocolate brown curtains, they are brown on both sides. They blocked all the light, I don't see any light at all now and am very happy with my purchase.

The "52" inch wide panels i received are actually only ...
The "52" inch wide panels i received are actually only 47 inches wide each, measured flat on the floor with a metal tape measure. I'll probably use them for a smaller window upstairs because they're decent quality material and not worth the time it would take to return. Other reviews say they are 50 inches, if that were the case it would still be ok for me, but even that is not nearly correct. Do not buy these if you want your curtains to come anywhere close to fully covering your sliding doors.

Great curtains!
These curtains have a luxurious look and feel to them. When I first unwrapped the package, I was stunned by the color. The richness of the stone blue curtains was accented by golden highlights. They match perfectly with my living room decor and provide warmth and coziness. The best feature is the ability to block out the cold and provide privacy in my home. I used the pocket rod opening but appreciated the option of having the tab top. Could not be happier with my purchase!

Highly recommend! Great price point, very pretty
I just received these and they are gorgeous! The Plum Purple is a little darker in person than it showed on my monitor, but that happens. All the panels are the correct length. The material is very soft and the stitching is excellent. They hang very nicely using the tabs. Instead of ironing them (as I'm afraid they would melt, and using low heat might not get out the fold marks) I steamed them. Worked like a charm. The big question...do they truly block out light? I'm very surprised and delighted to say they do an excellent job at blocking light! I wasn't expecting how well they keep the light out of our bedroom because of the price point, but I'm very pleased. I'd say they block somewhere in the vicinity of 90% of the light. One of our bedroom windows faces east, so mornings used to be a bear until I got blackout curtains.I washed them to get rid of the initial stiffness and that helped get out a lot of the wrinkles already. I would definitely recommend these to a friend! If you have any questions, I'm happy to help. Leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer.
