Struts for my RV coach side compartments
I need to replace the struts on the outside compartments on my RV coach. I was unable to find some that stated they were for an RV, but they all appear to be about the same. I bought these 2 to try. They were unable to hold the door up. They appear to be quite strong, but they aren't. However the most likely would be good for a toolbox or another medium to light door/hatch.

Good while it lasted. Which wasn't very long.
Not sure these were intended for RV entry door but that's what I bought them for when the original one failed after one year. This one lasted about 3 months, with light use, then snapped off at head. Luckily it came as two-pack so we'll see how long its brother lasts. Meanwhile, next I'm going to try one with 40 lb force--see if it's any beefier...?

Not as heavy duty as the originals but work well, now to see if they are as durable. So far pleased.

Took some time to install as the clips didn’t snap around the ball ... kept bending clip ... took clip off and slid into place and then installed clip ... tight... works great

Worked great.
Direct replacement with the needed resistance for my boat storage hatch. OEM was too stiff.

Strut extends too quickly.
Strut extends too quickly. Purchased these struts to replace both struts on my RV cargo door because one went bad. After installing these struts the cargo door flew open and came to a sudden stop at full extension. Strut extends twice as fast as my original still working strut. Size, fit and lbs were as described.
