Hooker 21504HKR Aero Chamber Muffler

This is the deepest sounding muffler with an almost echoing 60s mustang/charger echo GROWL. Borla XR-1s or Borla XS would be its "BASS" sounding competitor but this has that sweet echo. There is no raspy. weed wacker action, there is no drone, at idle...it is dead stock silent, it is not loud truck volume like the others, driving down your block at like 10-20 mph its deep deep bass hollow hummm is like butter...at wide open throttle it sounds like pure muscle. People like to say... dude get a flowmaster...those are the dudes that never had a flowmaster with the annoying buzzy drone. Youtube the sound of the Hooker Aeorochamber. It makes 4 cy and 6cy sound so deep...with no rice raspy. Make any 8s sound so powerfull without the "uneducated" volume loud noise like an industrial tractor. I swear bro...buy it your life will be changed.

American company but made in china seems like a ok product

I actually bought this because I thought one of my cheapy mufflers was internally whistling, but it turned out to be something else. So now I have one Hooker muffler and one Th**sh muffler one my truck. As far as sound goes, I don't hear any annoying drones or raspy noises at idle or WOT. The muffler is very heavy duty and heavy, I was surprised at that and impressed. If my other muffler goes bad, I'll probably replace it with a Hooker muffler.

I bought this for a subaru.I wanted something that was quiet on the highway but had a bite if you gave it the gas...Well... These subarus run 3 - 3.5k on the highway... so this thing is LOUD on the highway and kinda raspy on its own. Not to mention it drones inside the car pretty bad.If I keep it it's gonna get a a large glasspack or resonator.

Great muffler, I was having trouble keeping my exhaust system quiet with other mufflers (aftermarket headers) I used with a good resonator and no more loud exhaust and I like the way my car sounds 2JZ
