Worth the money!
I’m impressed. There is little quality off the shelf nowadays . This appears to be quality without the outrageous price. My occupation, steel fabrication, puts a heavy demand on durability and accuracy. Accuracy looks great. Durable is promising.

Excellent Value - Great for Woodworkers
Overall, this is a really nice combo square and a great value for the money. It has a nicely machined cast iron head and satin stainless rule that is easy to read. The center finder is a really nice addition as well and I like thatI really only have three nits to pick with this tool: 1) The blade is not 100% square to the head. When checking with my machinist's square, there's a sliver of light visible where the blade meets the head BUT I'm not able to slip a 0.0015" (1-1/2 thousandths) feeler gauge into the gap. For the size of this square, that's acceptable to me, and it's easy to correct with a tiny amount of work. 2) They got a little sloppy with the glue when they installed the level vial and there's a thin smear visible on one side of the vial, but it has no effect on the utility of the vial. 3) The center finder isn't "quite" 90°, however so long as the rule is centered, this makes no difference.Overall, I'm very pleased with this set and the quality is very good, and at less than 1/2 the price of a PEC or Starrett. Would recommend.ETA: After writing this review I discovered that one end of the rule wasn't perpendicular to the sides and was out of square by approximately 1/64". Since one side was long, I was able to fix mine easily and would still recommend this square.

Well built, quality tool.
I have used some cheaper combination squares in the past but have never felt like I had one that was accurate. They have all seemed loose and roughly made. I decided to upgrade but I don’t feel like my level of expertise justifies a Starrett, (which seems to be the one everything else is measured against.) I saw a lot of positive reviews and articles about IGaging tools, including their combination square. This thing feels like a solid hunk of steel in your hand. It may be just a little unrefined compared to a Starrett, It isn’t a perfectly polished finish all over, but it is still the nicest combination square I have gotten my hands on. The angle is spot on against a machinist square and probably with just a little more use all the movements will smooth out a bit. Right out of the box you notice it comes in a pretty decent storage case to protect everything, and you notice how solidly built it feels. I don’t regret buying this at all, I look forward to many years of use.

It's accurate, but...
It's too hard to get the ruler back on the stock, and the screw threads are a little rough. So, fit and finish are not the greatest, but it seems to be accurate (just some arbitrary measurements against another good square) and it was certainly inexpensive compared to Starrett's choices. That said, I think I would go with Starrett or PEC instead next time and pay the difference.

Not Too Bad
Needed a small combination square with center head. It is not a Starrett which would cost way more. It is accurate with an easy to read blade. The machining of the parts could be better. Both heads are a bit stiff to move on the blade. But at this price point it is a good product.Note: I'm a retired professional wood worker and Starretts are no longer in the budget.
