We got this to try to stop the intermittent odor coming from my daughter's pet rodents cage. She cleNs the bedding frequently, but the ammonia smell every time he would go was still there. We told her if we smelled him he had to go, meaning if she wasnt keeping up w/ cleaning his cage and taking care of him. Unfortunately we didn't realize, even as well as she was taking care of him, it still smelled. This product works...and all are pleased. I know it is available in a larger volume in our local farm store for much cheaper. And...we are definitely going to be trying it out in the chicken coop as well.

Great stuff, but too expensive to buy regularly. I used it on our four cat boxes, we have three cats, two large boxes and two smaller ones. We scoop them at least once daily, sometimes more. I used this as an experiment to see if it would help minimize odors. I think it really did. But it is so expensive I don't think I will buy it very often. I had first used it, in much larger quantities, at the boarding barn where I board my horses. They use it there in the stalls after mucking them out to cut down the ammonia smells there and help dry things out before topping with new shavings. It worked GREAT there. So I figured it would work well in the cat boxes, also. And it did. I recommend it if you don't mind the price.

Works well in litter box. Not much is needed.

I didn't think that this did much to control litter odor until I ran out. The difference in the smell of the litter box is night and day when this is added. While I won't say it smells like roses, there is a noticeable difference in the odor. I have three cats and two litter boxes. All three of them primarily use the one in the laundry room, and I am religious about cleaning the boxes every day. I add this when I do a complete litter change and periodically when adding fresh litter. The only issue is that it can be dusty. I will spray a litter deodorizing spray on the top of the box to cut down on the dust in the air. Problem solved.

Great product, but bag came damaged with two small holes it.

This is amazing. I have 2 rabbits, 1 male and 1 female housed separately and this addition to their potty location has eased the urine smell greatly.

I have six cats with litter boxes to match. As you can imagine I have tried everything under the sun that I could afford to control the lovely scent that tends to waft through my house. I tried a product that was specific to cats made out of the same ingredient as this. It was pricey, but it worked. When I found that I could buy a large bag at a decent price I went ahead and placed an order. It works just as well with no scent whatsoever. Of course after a week I have to dump the boxes and reapply, but a week’s worth of odor control is pretty great!

Omg that bag is so small for 25 dollars it’s terrible I bought a 25 pound of zeolite for 30 dollars at lowes now they don’t carry it anymore I’ll have to find somewhere else that’s ridiculous

Product as described. It does work but it is not a miracle solution.
