Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250 FM Transmitter with AutoScan for iPod and iPhone FM Transmitter/Charger-A IP FM-CH 250

The product works well enough. FM transmitters all work depending on the area you live in. Mine works fine depending on what area I'm in while I'm driving. Some areas have static, some areas don't. The AutoScan, isn't that auto. It didn't work too well for me and your better off just finding an unused frequency manually. The transmitter overall works well and it's satisfying enough for my needs.

I have an older iCarPlay but it does not charge my iPod while playing. This one does not have the volume or sound quality of the old one, but I like not having to charge my iPod.

does the job but could be better. the old monster fm transmitter i had was better. channels work great sometimes and sometimes it sucks. but i guess its alright.

I had another Monster iCarPlay  Monster iCarPlay Wireless Plus FM Transmitter/Charger for iPod  and bought this one as a replacement. The other one worked quite well, though with some static occasionally. By comparison, in the same vehicle (Pontiac Vibe 07), the iCarPlay 250 worked very poorly. The autosearch feature recommended stations with very strong signals that it could not broadcast over, and there were a lot of break-ins and static even on relatively clear stations. I would not recommend this product.

Just got my New Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250 FM Transmitter with AutoScan for iPod and iPhone FM Transmitter/Charger. Excitedly I rushed out to my car to try it out. Oh-Oh the Digital Display doesn't work so I have no idea what channel the unit is tuning too. Will have to send this one back and do a little more research before buying a new one. Bummer!

Worked great the first time I used it, the second time it started to drop out and the third time the power plug to the car stopped working! Perhaps the issue has been addressed or maybe mine was just the odd failure... anyway, first time I've given a Monster product a bad review, swear by a lot of their other products not just at them.
