I bought this 10 ft umbrella. LOVE IT.Great price, quality fabric. Great wind resistance being that we are at the beach. Easy to open, and very durable. Wind doesn’t seem to affect it much due to the vented top. Chose Navy as it knocks the brightness down. I bought the base with it and it fits nicely in the corner out of the way. And the ‘faux’ wood finish is beautiful. Love looking up at the underside. BEAUTIFUL!

This 12’ umbrella is overall quite perfect and the cover is fairly easy to install with each use. I purchased a stand that has wheels but with a foot pedal to raise and lower. This base was about 60% the cost of the one that has the crank and is way more user friendly.I would definitely recommend this and it remains quite stable on breezy days with just dry sand in the base (though wet sand is probably advisable).

We were hesitant at first to purchase this umbrella as it is very expensive. But after researching on the web and reading the reviews this umbrella had we went for it. So glad we did. It was very easy to set up and it works amazing. Very easy to shift where we need it to keep the sun out and it very well constructed. Highly recommend! We have now had for over a month and still working well. Very user friendly as well.

We recently had a large stone patio built on our lake front house, and were looking at all kinds of cantilevered umbrellas. It can be a little scary spending this kind of money on one you can't actually see or touch. This purchase turned out to be a terrific buy and worth every penny. It's a heavy duty, and a high quality product that exceeded our expectations. Best of all, it comes (almost) completely assembled, and requires no particular skills to set up. Once out of the box it DEFINATELY requires two people to pick up and place it in the base. The entire aluminum skeleton and center pole looks like expensive wood. Also included is a custom hood which is slipped over the collapsed umbrella at the end of the season to store it. We are also very happy with the movable base as the sun changes position over the course of the day. The movable base is key. Saving some $ on the permanent base will become an obvious fail once you set this big boy up. You won't regret the extra $ spent.

We are very happy with the umbrella now that it is assembled. It's big, as advertised, and sturdy.Came fully assembled, ready to mount on the base (sold separately, see my review of PURPLE LEAF Offset Umbrella Base Cantilever Umbrella Base, 330 pounds). 2 strong people needed to mount it on base.Lost one star because they sent the wrong color canopy.I corresponded with Hannah at Purple Leaf. 5 Star rating for her- she responded promptly and once we came to an understanding of what the problem was, she sent the proper colored canopy quickly (no charge). She also sent video instructions to guide us on the remove/replace process. The video made it seems very easy and straightforward. It was not easy- ladders and cursing were involved, and I had to remove some plastic fittings from the old canopy and screw them into the new one, but after all was done, very happy with final result.TL;DR: excellent umbrella, excellent service from Hannah, glitch in shipping led to an hour of hot sweaty work by me. Your order will probably be correct and you will be 5 Stars happy.

We love our Purple Leaf Cantilever Umbrellas! Started with one to shade pool from strong Florida sun then added another for our seating area around fire pit. They have really extended the use of our outdoor space. Umbrella quality is excellent and mechanisms are very smooth.Love that you can tilt the pitch to provide shade in addition to rotating. Had one for 2 years with no issues before we ordered the second one. Cover that came with second umbrella is markedly lower quality than the earlier one. We chose to replace both with the SuperJare covers (Amazon). They are much better quality for a lot less money. You can’t go wrong with these umbrellas when used with their base.
