Exam Ref MD-101 Managing Modern Desktops

The book teaches a lot, but you will probably fail if you use this book alone andtake the MD-101 exam. I took the exam, and go back to this book summary pageand probably be able to answer 2 questions that are on the exam under Deploy and Update OSand Manage Policies and Profiles.I would highly recommend to use other resources.

Good to study and prepare for the exam. However, the exam has been updated since this book was published. Topics such as Windows Analytics--which has been retired and replaced by Desktop Analytics--have been updated on the exam but are not covered in this book. The official website for this book does not have any errata explaining this, which is very disappointing considering this is the official Exam reference from Microsoft. For the most part this book will help you in your preparation for the exam, but you will definitely require supplemental study materials for the sections that are entirely uncovered.

My job required we sit this exam. Bought and read the book, took the exam. I have a lot of years experience so a good bit of the exam was from my knowledge but this book will help.

This book is so old that it would be best to utilize the online learning paths. I have been using both at the same time and there is a lot of stuff it talks about in the book that is no longer being used.

I bought the CCNA exam prep books at the same time - the difference is like night and day! This book is thin and light on content whereas the two epic tomes that make up the CCNA guide might look daunting but I have confidence that they will actually prepare me for the relevant exam - unlike this rubbish

Second book to get yourself ready for Modern Desktop Administrator exam. Without practice it won't help. Good PowerShell command knowledge is a key to success.
