For ten dollars this certainly serves its purpose for me. It's genuine leather and it fits my knife (kind of) which is a Zwilling pro.There's a fair amount of play in the sheath, not ideal but still protects the knife.The retention strap will need to be relocated. This likely wouldn't be an issue with a full bolster but is kinda scary with a half bolster.All in all, pretty nice little sheath at a great price.

They look good and good quality online at Amazon BUT THEY’RE ARE NOT AT ALL AND NOT EVEN LEATHER. They are made from some “CRAPPY” synthetic s_ _ t that only a small child would appreciate. I’m sorry I bought these two.

Fits perfectly on an 8” chef knife. Hopefully this keeps my wife from making all of my knives dull as can be. Before adding this cover, she would drop other utensils on my knives cut stuff on metal.

It's well made and my 8" Chef's knife fits perfectly. I am not sure it is natural cowhide. Doesn't look like it to me.

Using it for hog hunting purposes. Belt loop needs to be higher on sheath, knife handle is heavy & tries to fall over so drilled small hole in bottom of sheath and ran a leather shoe lace through hole and tied around thigh.

It prevents injury in the knife cabinet.

Pretty cheesy
