Llewellyn's 2020 Witches' Datebook

This is my second year to purchase this item and I'm really glad I started using it. Having the astrological and lunar information at a glance is really nice and has encouraged me to be more attentive to these forces and to learn more about them. Space for a synopsis of my day is generous and the organization and arrangement of calendars, art, and information is useful and intuitive. It's spiral and small notebook style is perfect on my desk and at hand. I plan to continue to purchase these annually.

This is my regular datebook, year after year. I love the wood block prints, the recipes, the space for writing--everything about this datebook suits me. I usually color a few of the illustrations, as that seems right to do! The articles and celebrations are abundant, and I always learn something new; I like the daily notice of signs (Moon, Planet) and all the other little notes--colors, holiday announcements, mini articles about the seasons. This is just the greatest datebook! Why else would I continue to purchase one, year after year?

I buy one every year as I have for the past decade. Anyone who approaches me or asks me on my Wiccan webpage, regarding which book they should buy first, I tell them to buy the current datebook of this series. It’s more than a calendar; it gives information which is valuable for anyone who practices Wicca. I highly recommend this if you are practicing any form of Wicca.

I always like this style of this calendar if it's perfect in my drawer and it also fits perfect in with my laptop bag I'm very happy with it and I know my review is very very late but I buy one every year I did a review for 2024 as well and of course it's perfect for me

I have been using this particular date book for several years. I have to change a patch to control pain every 48 hours and this helps me keep track of the date last changed and know when to change it next. There is a seven day period on each two pages with Monday through Friday on the first page and a write up about different things on the top of the second page with Saturday and Sunday printed on the bottom. Each day has interesting tid-bits of information included for a particular date such as some basic astrology info each day, the moon phase and a suggested color to wear for the day. When I used to work full time I would use the suggested color to help me decide what to wear, it made it fun to get dressed. My Mom used to check with me the night before to see what the suggested color was for the next day and we worked down the street from one another so we would be coordinated when we met for lunch. Also there are short half page to full page write ups through out regarding witchcraft traditions, recipes, information about what a certain moon was called during that month and about witchcraft history. At the end of each month is a two page print out of the full month. The sprial binding makes it very handy to view each week easily.

LOVE this planner! So much useful information for someone who is fairly new to the path, like myself. I can't reccomend this planner enough! I am looking forward to getting one every year and learning more and more. I also love how the moon phase, position, and more are all on the day in the weekly planner sections.

I gave it 4 stars bc i love and adore it all except one thing. Why does it show waxing and waning gibbouses instead of the standard 1st quarter 3rd quarter calendar symbols..the gibbouses dont happen for a few days after theyre shown on the calendar. And i hate how it shows the new moon as a waxing cresent. Its not waxing yet. Why do they do that? It has a 3 day dark period. Why show it as waxing and gibbousing when it isnt yet..i get thats whats about to start happening but it shows it like thats what phase the moon is in at the moment and it isnt. Strange. The calendars are not like that thank goodness.

I've been ordering this datebook for years now and this year's edition does not disappoint. Besides the celestial and holiday events noted it also offers informed, useful articles and advice from the best authors on each given subject, all in line with the season where the dates are relevant within the calendar. A must have for pagans, wirches, wiccans, or others living a natural or magical life.

I have this in my handbag at all times. It's a great functional diary, and the spiral binding makes it super practical, and the addition of the illustrations / extra bits of info just makes it all the better. My favourite diary.

I will be purchasing this yearly! Love it. The art is a nice added touch. This is a decent guide for newbes and for the dedicated. 😉
