Best of Cozy: Strip Club Edition

When I make a quilt from a pattern, I like to have a full size color photo of it. This book is 99% black and white with random sized color photos of the quilts - folded or the shots imposed onto each other - no full size view of the quilt - within the book. The ONLY quilt that is full page color is Hanging Gardens and it is with the Butterfly Blooms pattern.Very disappointing. In my opinion, they went on the cheap print wise and charged full price.I will not purchase from them again.

Beautiful quilts, great directions. I didn’t have to buy the special ruler- i just used the 10” square ruler I already had and applied painters tape to the 7” line diagonally (or whatever the pattern called for). This could also be done with any right angle triangle ruler and painters or masking tape. I understand that printing this as a full color book will make the book much more expensive. Donna Jordan, of “Jordan Fabrics” has YouTube videos of her clearly explaining and demonstrating how to make almost all of these quilts in this book, if you look on YouTube you’ll see her making the quilts, with beautiful fabric, in full color. Also, Cozy Quilts did YouTube videos showing these quilts full-sized as samples, many of them with the colors that are in the smaller pictures in the book.

When I read the reviews, there were comments about not being any colored pictures of quilts. The book includes color photos of all quilts enumerated, as well as very good instructions about each quilt. Very happy with this purchase.

Would give it five stars but NOTE:Many/most Cozy Quilt patterns have instructions for up to six sizes. In this book, only the Tradewinds pattern shows six sizes. Would like to see Baby, Crib, and Lap sizes.

I’ve quilted for 25 years and this book is not well written at all! I’ve never had a quilt book that has the quilt laid out in Black & White. Also having to buy yet another piece of equipment isn’t right either!

Excellent variety of Cozy Quilt patterns ranging in sewing ability from beginner to advanced. Excellent price point compared to buying individually. Well described, clear and easy to follow directions describing what fabrics needed, how to cut, sew press and assemble each quilt. Very glad I purchased this book.

I have already made one of the quilts in this book. They are easy to make a turn out beautiful! Would highly recommend. You get five for the price of two. ( If you ever bought them one by one you will know what I mean.)Great product!
