I really like this bento bowl. The capacity is quite large, with the bottom bowl being about 11 ounces, and the top bowl being about 8 ounces. This product is microwave safe, but not insulated. It is made of thick plastic, so you won't be keeping anything hot or cold for an extended period of time. I keep it in the fridge at work, and then microwave the contents inside the large portion of the bowl. The size/round shape makes it easy to pack.You can use it for various types of foods. You can put soup in the top and rice in the bottom, pasta in the bottom and sauce in the top, stir fry in the top and rice in the bottom, salad in the bottom and dressing, meats, cheese, etc in the top, mashed potatoes and veggies in the bottom and braised meat or meatloaf in the top. You can get pretty creative about filling it with different types of foods. Only the top portion has a sealing gasket to prevent liquids from leaking. This means you cannot safely put liquids into the larger portion of the bowl if your bowl may not always be upright in your lunch bag, backpack, etc. This seems to be the case with every bento box I have looked at, even the expensive Zojirushi Mr./Ms. Bento lunch thermoses. I really wish I could find a bento similar to this one where all compartments are water tight. This is the reason I gave the product 4/5 stars. I also wish there were more design/color options.

Nice and large. Not the fancy type that can keep food warm, etc., thus less material and the bowl itself is light and does not occupy too much extra space. It is functional, serves the purpose to take enough food to school/work, be refrigerated until meal time and be heated up using microwave.You can even take out the top section and just use the bottom bowl and cover to hold more from the same dish. I tried put stew in this way, even the top cover is not leakage proof, I did not notice any spill. But I'll still recommend to keep the bowl upright if you have liquid in the main bowl.The only complaint I would have in this bowl is indication lines. Both small and large bowls do not come with any, thus I have no idea to what point I cannot fit more food in because the cover/top bowl needs to come down. If there's too much food in the bowl, the cover won't seal. You can take out the extra food after you find out that cover doesn't seal, but it will get a bit messy.

I've been wanting one of these for a while (picked this design because it matches another box I have). The lid screws on tightly with no gasket, so thick sauces are good. Runny things may not hold so well. The inner divider (essentially a round box that seats in the top of the bowl) has a gasket in it's lid which presses closed. It probably wouldn't hold soup either. I don't microwave either part and I handwash all my bentos so I cannot report on that front.When I use the inner compartment, I tend to pack my starch (noodles, rice, etc.) in the bottom with mains and sides in the compartment. When I take out the compartment, I can pack salads, one-box meals, or anything else that needs room and cute presentation. I like making dirty rice and lining the box with lettuce- easy clean up and extra veggies all together.Plastic is sturdy, construction is sturdy. One of my favorite bento boxes, in fact.

Depending on how much you eat, there's a decent amount of space for food with or without the inner container. Only down side is it can't take liquid in the main bowl, it leaks. Unless it's secured in the inner container, don't pack any soup based foods. Also pretty easy to carry if you have small hands like me. Nice and simple design, easy to clean.

I have the smaller version of this and loved it so much I went out and got this bigger version! It's not bigger by much but holds a lot more food for those hungrier days. Also doesn't have a million pieces and compartments to wash like other bento boxes. Easy peasy!

i liked this but only concern is heating it in the Microwave , i would not recommend

So the smaller compartment lid has ZERO suction and is completely useless! Even the top for the entire bowl wont save it. It did keep my food separated!!! But i honestly would far rather my masala mix with rice than my BACKPACK :(If you are an adult with a car and a company fridge and this bento bowl will never get bumped- then this could work. As a biker this has just given me more work.I have used the smaller one with the bunnies on it for a year and it has served me enormously well

購入してから、牛丼つゆだく、カレーライス、トマトソースのパスタを入れてみました。食べるときに見たら容器からうっすらと汁がにじみ出ていました。でも大判ハンカチで包んできんちゃく袋で包んでいたので全然問題なかったです。完ぺきではないですが、少し注意すれば大丈夫だと思います。夏場ではありますが結構保温能力があるみたいで、半日近くたってもまあまあ温かいです。中蓋を外せばレンジOKです。ひとつ問題は、重なった状態で具材を入れる内側容器が外しにくい事です。気を付けて外せば良いんでしょうが、内側容器に指をひっかける出っ張りなどあれば更に良かったです。この弁当どんぶりがある事で家内の弁当作りの手間が大幅短縮となり、とても喜んでくれています。職場のみんなも購入しそうな雰囲気です。

健康を考え量を減らしている夫用ですが、洗いやすくパッと見た目よりおかずの量はしっかり入ります。他のレヴューで見ましたが、外蓋のスクリューはちゃんと閉じます。しかし、中蓋のパッキンは緩く密封性はありませんでした。液体は難しいと思います。パッキン交換時のメモが入っていましたが、送料切手を入れて送るとあるが、いくら分の切手なのか書いていない。届いてすぐ重ねてパッキンのある中蓋がしっかり閉じないのに気が付きました。しっかりハメても浮いて白いパッキンが見えている個所があります。（やはり汁物は不可能でしょう！）外蓋で押さえ込み閉じる感じになっていますが、まあ問題はなさそうでしょう。

レビューでは、あまりよくない様な話でしたが、箱を開けて見てみると、結局いい様に思います。スケーターのお弁当箱は、だいたい止めがねが壊れやすい様に思いますがこのお弁当箱は、止めがねではなくいわゆるネジ式と言うか回して開閉しますので止めがねの件は、クリアです。中にあるおかず用の入れ物も思った以上にパッキンがしっかりしていました。トロッとした汁気ならきちんとクリアできると思います。普通の汁気のあるおかずなら、まだ試してませんがラップでクリアできると思います。ただお弁当箱、薄いです。中身の入った状態で勢いよく落下したら確実に割れると思います。おかず用の部分を使わず本体のみでも仕様出来そうです。双子の部活用に購入重宝しそうです。

女性ですが、量がちょうど良いです。けっこうたっぷり食べたいので。ご飯の上に、クッキングシートをふわっと乗せてからおかずの容器を重ねています。それで容器にご飯がつきません。（保温機能があればもっと良かったのでマイナス１にしておきます）

この商品２つ目です。最初に買ったのはスーパーですが、3年くらい使いました。親子丼やカレーも入れたり、作るのが一品でいいので楽で使いやすかったです。パッキンが劣化したのか汁物が漏れてくるので、アマゾンで見つけて買いました。まだ2ヶ月しか経っていませんが、パッキンは大丈夫ですが、一番上の蓋を回しても引っかかりが悪くてしっかり閉まりません。商品に当たり外れたがあるのかも。
