Attention butter fingers, hook grippers, and the like… I’d like you to meet a couple of fancy leather strips, I think you guys might hit it off. Seriously, you’re missing out if you haven’t tried this style of straps yet. Maybe you’re still using those typical long straps that have to be endlessly wrapped around the bar. I know, even after you’ve fussed with them for a few minutes they still feel awkward and uneven. You’re losing your adrenaline so you begin the pull anyway. Or maybe you’re using some kind of wrist-support-strap combo device and it fell apart or you want something more minimalist. Whatever the case, you owe it to yourself to try something that just plain works. I despised almost every strap that I tried, and I’ve tried many. So I set out to make a strap… for myself. Prototype after prototype…sucked. I tested all different materials, shapes, lengths. Eventually we created a prototype that wasn’t bad, eventually turning it into something that I actually kind of liked. Over time I tweaked it into something I loved. Here’s why… Within your first or second session and a little practice, these straps take seconds to grip the bar. The leather is thick enough to be strong, but thin enough so gripping the bar with the straps feels the same as gripping the bar without. This way I can more easily switch back and forth between my normal grip (hook) and using straps without the acclimation period. Leather also feels and grips better than other materials. Lastly, the weight distribution over the hand feels more natural without the tightening and cinching around the wrist joint. If you’re anything like me, picky or dissatisfied with wrist straps you’ve used in the past, I’d recommend giving them a try.

the leather is very good, well constructed but the length of it is ...
Well, the leather is very good, well constructed but the length of it is too short. I spent more time trying to get a grip than doing the actual dead lift.. Maybe if they were 3-4 inches longer, I would have given it 5 stars..Wow amazing things happen when people converse. I will be upgrading my review from a 2 star to a 4 star. Upon doing my review, I received and email from Katelyn, Lift Unlimited Co-Owner. She offered a full refund, outstanding. That says a lot about a business. I asked for an exchange, maybe longer straps unfortunately they do not have them. Now, I will be keeping the straps because as I said it before, leather is very good, well constructed but the length of it is too short and now I know that they have an awesome customer support. Had I know this, prior to the purchase, I would have sent them an email. I blame self for not doing due diligence.Thank you Katelyn for reaching out to us...

I have used these for 5 workouts now and I am very satisfied with them
Note: I cant compare these straps to any other brands as these are the first ive ever used. I purchased these due to the other reviews and the price point. That being said, I have used these for 5 workouts now and I am very satisfied with them. The leather breaks in easily and does not give any discomfort to my wrists. I work very long hours in a restaurant kitchen and my workouts are late at night after a 12 hour shift. By then my forearms are fatigued so heavy pulls become an issue. I only use the straps when my grip starts to slip or when i really want to isolate during pulls. Once these go on, though, deadlifts, rows, weighted pull ups, and pretty much every other heavy pull becomes a non issue for my defeated forearms. The black leather is nice and low key. I have very skinny wrists so I wish these came in a shorter length, while others have mentioned how they wish they were longer. Not a big deal at all. Besides that, these straps effectively do what theyre intended to do.

Quality product. 10/10 would recommend if you need lifting straps.
I really like these. I'm never going back to regular webbing straps again. You get just enough help with the grip, but you can dump the bar quick if needed. They are a go-to if I'm doing a max deadlift or rack pulls. These are advertised as for olympic lifiting, but I haven't used them for that. I'm sure they're great there, too. I found them to break in perfectly well in a few sessions. Just hold them curled in the palm of your hand for a bit before strapping the bar on and you should have no worries.

Very helpful to my strain-prone fingers
I don't know if I have arthritis or what, but working out with much weight just WRECKS my fingers, which is bad because I'm a programmer. These have really helped remove some of the strain on my fingers (they don't have to work as hard to maintain stability), which has made it so I can build my larger muscles more effectively.Note: My hands and wrists are quite small for a man, and these fit me well.

Perfect for smaller wrists
I like how fast these are to setup. I can wrap these around with just one hand. It's easy to let go of the bar and i haven't experienced any kind of slipping. Another benefit of using these straps is the bar doesn't cut up my hands anymore. The leather protects my buttery hands. :)

Great seller and product!
Once you get used to loop style straps, they’re easier and quicker to work with. These straps, being thick leather, are stiff at first, and a little hard on the skin. But they loosen up over time, and become more comfortable. As for the seller, I’d give 10 stars if I could. I bought these straps a while ago, and didn’t want to use them until my current straps wore out. Once I started using them, I noticed one of them was defective. Even though my purchase was over a year ago, the seller STILL graciously sent me another pair! Outstanding customer service!

Solid product
These straps were different then my old ones which were lost. They do have a smaller hand opening than I expected, but I could still fit my hand in them and as with leather is will stretch I am sure more over time. This is a different style then I have used as stated earlier, but is working just as well. The leather is holding up to all my heavy lifts which include olympic lifts and other standard heavy barbell lifts. In total I would recommend this to others.

I should have bought these months ago.
I used these for the first time this morning, they are great. They are long enough to improve your grip but not so much that they are replacing having a good grip. I use them for dead lifts, they help me keep a strong grip on the bar when doing reps. Normally after 3-4 reps and higher loads my hands are slipping, with these I'm good for 5-10 reps within 10% of my maximum lift.
