great bowl, light weight, easy to clean, nice handle. bigger than it looks, easily holds a full pot of ramen or other trail food. now I keep looking for excuses to pack it along even though I usually tend to be more of a 1 pot minimalist.

I like this bowl for dog feeding when I travel.

This bowl can be used for food prep as well as for eating. Almost like camping at home.

Great Size! I loved the bowl as soon as I opened the box. Minimal packaging which is eco-friendly. Good use of pine and plastic material. This bowl is big and lightweight. The handle is easy to grasp and hold. I'll be using this at home and on the road for work. Tried out the bowl and am amazed at no heat transfer, easy carrying, and no odor retention. I'm the daily use for all my meals at home. I recommend this item for campers, backpackers, and hikers. Can be used to transport water. UPDATE 2/28/2014: I use this bowl all the time at home. It still looks new and hasn't worn at all. I handwash it only because there is no dishwasher here, but it only retains food odors if I forget to wash it right away.

Remember this item is not 100% made of wood, but it has a more plastic feel than wood. Made a nice stew over the campfire, the item did not melt or deform, but I would not try to cook or microwave in the item, it's not designed for that. Large enough for a healthy serving of stew or other items, I am glad I purchased this for use on camping trips. Having a handle is a big plus, and being made with Natural Fiber Composites Material means if you accidentally drop it, no worries about breaking or cracking! I have used it now for three meals best outside bowl I have owned!

I have been using this bowl for all my meals for the past year. It helped me control how much I eat. I just fill it up once per meal. I like the handle and overall size. Leaving it on the stove I did scorch the bottom but it still works, I may buy a replacement and use this one for camping only. From time to time I do olive oil this bowl which keeps it fresh.

A little pricey but unique and it does get used... a lot. I like this bowl and use it when I camp or spend a day out in nature. I don't use anything real abrasive to clean this a light duty scrub pad works fine.

Didn't think I'd like the handle, but it fits the hand naturally and is excellent for sipping hot soup on a snowy wilderness evening.

I've been eating in that bowl everyday for 4 months and it's just perfect.

My wife thinks I'm mad but this a nice qwerky bit of kit that looks like lasting me a while.
