Charles Dickens: Four Novels (Leather-bound Classics)

I love Dickens and his classic tales. My favorite play/movie of the season is A Christmas Carol. Yet I have never read the story. This four in one has my favorite tales, plus the Carol to read for the first time. The cover is so beautiful and texture is a book lovers dream come true. I love the pages and the new book smell is there. If you have a book nerd, I would 10/10 recommend this book for them. So glad my husband's got me this gift. It is a delight. Angela M.

Beautiful collection in a stylish hardcover book. I love it. Not the kind of book you take to the beach nor would you read it reclining with it held kind of up in the air. It’s HEAVY. But it is the kind of book you read and love then cherish it on your shelf and hope your kids will read and cherish too.

The cover is gorgeous. Gold edges on the pages. A very classy book and yet it was inexpensive. Love it.

It has the best novels from one of the greatest writers.

Best to start the book with"carol"on Christmas day with a glass of sherry (as I did)I finnised it by end of boxing day.(the story not the sherry) .the other classics takes abit longer to get though so take your time ,it took me about 2years to finish but got there in the end.also looks great on the shelf with that gold edge.

A wonderful hard back book. However please be aware the writing is incredibly small. It wasn't suitable therefore for my 80 year old mum.

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the book for this review. Bought as a leaving gift for a big Dickens fan.It is a beautiful book, inside and out. For the price you can't go wrong.The pages a thin (similar to pages in the Bible but slightly thicker) with gold on the edges. The font size was fine and very readable (others have mentioned the font was too small).There are other collections in the series which will be ideal for future gifts! Or I might build up my own collection :)

Good looking , well presented books . The version of the story’s are different from the ‘classic’ versions . Oliver Twist has many alterations , different chapters and whole missing passages. Worth bearing in mind if you’re going to read rather than just display
