Heavy Duty
These are alot thicker than the OEM clamps that came with our RV sliding glass doors. With that said, they are stiffer too. So, after installing them, I just used a heat gun to relax them a bit. Works just fine.

Perfect fit
It is a great replacement piece, although almost too rigid.

Too darn strong
These appear to be much higher quality then the other brand sold on Amazon. (Which only lasted 9 months in my RV). The bad part is I had to file down the catch on these to make it easier to open. As the plastic is so stiff.

Works with a little modification.
This looks nearly exactly like the old one right down to the location of the screw holes. However this is made of much harder plastic, and a bit thicker as well. Which sounds like a great thing, its not gonna break right? But it won't give enough to allow it to snap over the door to latch. Grinding off the back tab a bit allowed it to have more room to slip into place and latch. Even so, it's so stiff it takes some strength to open the door once snapped. It ain't gonna pop open under way, that's fer sure! I used a Dremel tool to make it work, which also works to round the edges just a bit so you don't scrape your hand or snag something on it which happened often with the old one.I would still buy this though as it is the only one I've found anywhere to replace what it had that broke.

Make sure you put it in the right spot
This is my second one, The first one I had in the wrong spot. It was too tight and it broke, so I bought another one and it works great.

Too rigid and not wide enough
These definitely won't work on my camper closet because they are too rigid and hard, with no give or flexibility to fit the door. I ended up forcing it to close and struggled greatly to get it open again. Had to remove it since it's not going to work.

Hard to unlatch
It’s the right piece but it is built so heavy that it is hard to unlatch

Beware, what you receive may not be exactly what the picture shows.
I ordered 2 of these to replace the ones in our trailer. The original ones from the factory are made of a type of plastic that is a bit foggy (can't see clearly through it), and they have some flexibility which makes them operate smoothly. One of the 2 that I ordered from this Supplier was exactly the same as the factory original, however the other one was made of a clear plastic, and was much more rigid (less flexible) than the foggy plastic one. I installed it, and found that it was so rigid, it would not allow the sliding door to completely close. I resolved the problem by heating it with a small propane torch, then bending it slightly wider so that the sliding door would be able to close and the the lip of the catch would engage the door. Not ideal, but I did manage to get it to work. I had also tried to buy replacements at the local RV Dealers, but all of them only had the clear plastic type.
