Great product! Saves lots of time/energy when you have a lot to plant. I have very hard, heavy clay soil and digging all the holes for my annuals and veggies used to take me days. With this auger I dug 60 holes for my sunflowers in 6 minutes! It's holding up well too and it's gotten a lot of use so far. Definitely keep your drill on the low setting because if you hit a big root it can get stuck and turn your wrist.I bought a few new garden tools this year that we're more of a splurge and this is my second favorite behind my nisaku garden knife. I'll probably buy the larger one for next year for my deeper plantings.

The plant auger works great. I only needed it it for small shallow jobs so that was what it was rated on. I wished I could order one that can go 3-4 inches deep if needed. I have both a standard drill and a heavy duty one I only used the standard drill and it worked just fine for the small easy job I needed.

Excellent tool for anyone needing to plant alot or a little. Key is having a good drill. Cordless wore the battery out quickly, but changed to plug-in & 300 bulbs planted in less than 45. Impressed!

No good, it wasn’t straight, so when I put it in the drill bounce awkwardly. So i decide no to use it. By the time I realized that was to late to return it. 😡

When I received this I was pleasantly surprised, if is sturdy and very well made. The metal was smooth with no snags, fit my drill perfectly. The holes were the perfect size and depth for any plants I planted. Excellent product!

Doesn’t work, designed poorly. The tip does not effectively dig/cut/penetrate into the ground to even get the spiral blade near the ground.

Very pleased, use these quite often. Love the gloves. Great for digging into my flower beds, composing bin and worm bins.
