I added this to my Macbook charger as an extension. Sparks were visible when I tried to plug in HDMI cable, and the charger stopped working. Seems like a grounding issue, but I'm not going to take a chance checking that. No sparking when I removed the cable again. Fortunately didn't fry the computer. Returned

I have an early 2016,15-inch Macbook Pro with the Touchbar and have had no problems with this extension cord.After few days of use, I have not had any overheating issues whatsoever - my transformer box does not even get warm when it is plugged in.When it arrived, the packaging was new and the product was brand new. After one week of use, I have no complaints of any kind and have no idea why it would give me any trouble in the future.Highly recommened this product.

I have an older original Apple cord like this and cannot tell the difference in look or feel. Excellent value, fit and feel. I bought 2 of these and both work perfect.

It worked just fine on my original Apple AC adapter and now works just fine on the generic replacement adapter I just bought. Just as durable as Apples original cable if you ask me. Good to go!
