Wouldn't buy again
Poor air flow. Not really cold air blowing out, even with ice. Water is very easily spilled out. Better off just getting a fan.

Cheaply made
Doesn't work very well. My husband used it in his forklift cab. Could barely feel the fan moving. For that small of an area it should work way better.

Very effective in dry environments. Reservoir filling leaks if executed wrong
What many people don't understand about this type of cooler, is that evaporative coolers are only effective in dry environments. Don't waste your time or money trying to use one in Florida, for example. Here, in Utah, they are very effective. Larger versions are used for whole-home cooling here.After unboxing and installing the included Li-ion battery, I filled up the reservoir with about 500ml of water (16.9 oz) and turned it on. It immediately made my cubicle feel much cooler. The fan is very quiet on low, but becomes louder on medium & high settings.The instructions indicate to fill it with the evaporation filter in place... this WILL result in extreme spillage. I highly recommend removing the filter, and filling the basin, using the level indicator on the side to know when it is full, then re-installing the filter. For maximum effectiveness, wait a few moments for the filter to wick the water up (or moisten in in the sink).Deducting 1 star due to the tendency to spill while filling if the directions are followed. Will update if any problems arise after a bit more use.
