Mercer Culinary Hell's Handle Heavy Duty Turner/Spatula, 8 Inch x 4 Inch

This is my second different tool in this Mercer Culinary Hell's Handle line of kitchen tools, and I love them both. This is a great, heavy-duty, every day turner for my cast iron cookware. The stainless is thick and heavy, up for anything. The synthetic handle is comfy and grippy, but not lightweight or flimsy like synthetic handles on many kitchen tools. This is the perfect medium size for almost any type of food, it's heavy enough to stand up to anything, and you can get good leverage for scraping on the bottom, whatever you need. Clean up is a breeze with these, I usually wash by hand it's so easy, but do sometimes throw it in the dishwasher, no problem. On anything except my few non-stick skillets, I reach for this as my preferred turner every time. Great value for the price!

Great quality product. We purchased the fish turner years ago, and it's holding up perfectly. This one is of very similar quality. Very happy so far.

Probably the best utensil purchase I have ever made. I bought three different types. They are high quality with great handles. Excellent for use in cast iron.

I bought this for skillet cooking, but of course the squared-off front edge does not work for a round pan. But this is a big, sturdy, and well-built spatula that works great on the grill.

We were gifted one of these years ago for my husband who loves to cook and grill. The one we were gifted had a flatter edge. I purchased this one for hubby thinking it would be the same, but wasn't. This one has a thicker edge. My husband took it to a belt sander and made the edge thinner, now it is perfect. It is extremely sturdy and the handle seems strong as well, despite being made from plastic. I don't know why the world suddenly has crappy metal spatulas, but it does. It has been increasingly difficult to find decent stainless steel utensils to use with our cast iron cookware. We find that the "good stuff" is 10 years plus old and super expensive- because no good cook wants to give it up. I recommend this product, but again, you are going to want to flatten your edge for better scraping to get under the food properly.

Husband loves it. Edges are nice and sharp, flips meat eggs and pancakes easily. Strong / not flexible at the join. I used to think a good spatula needed to be flexible to get under edges. I was so wrong. It needs thin sharp edges like this one. It is 100% perfect.

Industrial strength, great to use. Proper good. Absolutely going to buy others in the range. Not cheap, but they'll get handed down to your siblings along with those cast iron pans and linen sheets. Amazing.
