Bass Brushes Oval Boar Brush, 1 EA

This brush is everything I was hoping for. I have been growing my hair for several years and have been trying to do as much as I can to keep it healthy. When looking into brushes the two kinds that come up the most are Boar Bristle and Wood. Both have the amazing quality of spreading your oils down your hair shaft to 1-condition the hair and 2-extend your washed. So when I stumbled across the Fusion Brush I was intrigued. I couldn't find any hype or reviews anywhere, even on the Bass Website so I took a chance.The brush itself is beautiful! The wood is solid and sanded super smooth. The balance of the brush is amazing, it is designed to be able to stand on its end on your counter/dressing table. The pins are smooth and don't snag in your hair causing breakage.The boar bristles are what I would consider medium firmness. Soft enough not to scratch your head, but firm enough to make it through the hair. My only complaint would be that the boar bristle part is shorter than the wood pins so it takes a few days to get used to the feeling on your head.I have had it for several months and haven't seen any breakage and my hair is soft and shiny after using the brush.I have other brushes, some wood ones from this company and some higher end boar ones but I usually end up reaching for this one.

Brush was waiting at my door step after work today. After opening the package I used it briefly to try it out. I have fine, blonde, past the shoulder length hair, but lots of it. This hairbrush is easy to hold in my hand & also feels great on my head while brushing my hair. It added shine like it was younger hair (I'm 65), and smooths the hair (I have mostly straight hair that has waves at times). While trying out this brush, I found some knots & it detangled my hair rather easily. Wow, this brush is darn near perfect for me. Very pleased with this purchase & plan to get a back up brush if the price stays reasonable.
