bought this so I could give customers a receipt, good size machine fits in palm of your hand, easy to use but you need to use an app on your phone to print an independent receipt as it is not compatible with some card machines. having to go to the app and type in the purchase details takes time which is not practical. overall printer is ok easy to use prints well

Okay I bought this because of the price and was willing to take a chance despite the poor reviews from some.I now understand why people have trouble getting it to work but after some trial and error I figured it out.First of its a great little printer let down by poor instructions and no dedicated software.Here are my tips to getting it working 100%...IOS, IPhone and IPad - don’t try to connect by Bluetooth it doesn’t show up when searching for devices, instead just go to the App Store and search for thermal printer app, install a free one and in the app you will see it finds the printer and you can print. The Hoin app is simple and works, even if the App Store screen shots are in Chinese.Android - you have to add the printer by Bluetooth settings, then download a thermal printer app, and it works.I only had the device for a couple of hours, so can’t recommend a good app that suits my needs yet, but I wanted to give setup answers to help others.

Perfectly adequate fire printing text, although struggles with block "colour". However I switched to a negative of my logo and it comes out much clearer.It's not particularly fast and sometimes takes a while to respond when you press print on my mobile device. However, most of the time it does the job I bought it for.

Does the basics right when it works. I have ordered 3. I had to send 2 back as they were printing blank pages

This thermal printer is very easy to set up once find the right app to install. I have found both Hoin Print and POS-Printer to work great with set up. You just need to turn the printer on and then search in the app for it and connect.The printer is quite small and compact - fitting nicely in your hand. It comes with a thermal receipt roll included - more than enough for testing it out and printing tons of receipts! Extra rolls are available quite cheaply from amazon.The built in battery seems to last forever and emits a beep when the battery needs recharging. I originally thought it would charge via the supplied usb cable, but I think this is only for connecting to the pc. It charges using the supplied charging wall plug and takes around 4 hours to fully charge again. Very good value mobile printer.

This is a great multi-use printer.You can connect it over bluetooth to your phone or PC/Laptop via USB. There are freely avaliable drivers for most platforms, allowing any program to connect and print. It's capable of printing off greyscale photos and QR codes as well as regular text. The applications of this device go past regular receipt printing, if you can get around scripting the bluetooth connection you can automatically print out e-mails or text messeges as they come in.Hardware wise this printer does not disappoint. It is capable of quickly printing off anything I throw at it, the standby battery life is sufficient to leave it powered all day, ready to receive a bluetooth transmission. You get one roll of paper included in the box and replacement rolls are sold on amazon, which you can get for under £1/roll if you buy 20 at once.

Doesn’t even connect to my Bluetooth. My Bluetooth is on, printer is on. Tried everything to connect. The printer name doesn’t even come up in my found devices. Tried it with multiple devices and still did not work. Sorry but I feel this bad review for this product is deserved as it’s basically a nightmare and does not function correctly.

I ordered the thermal printer to print receipts when working from home or on craft fair stands. I wanted a small portable one but was still surprised at just how small this is! It just fits into the palm of my hand. Really handy. I can't show a video of it printing as I can't work out how to upload it but it seems to print clear enough to be able to comfortably pass the receipt to a customer 🙂 It links via bluetooth to my laptop & printing software but I've not tried it on my phone yet. Average priced for what it is & nice that comes with a roll to start you off 🙂
