I’ve used my mug regularly for over a year now. It may sit in the freezer for a few weeks, or it may get used 3 times a week. We use it both for soda and for beer. It actually gets so cold that it’ll give you lots of slush, which you may have to scoop with a spoon after you drink the liquid, because it ain’t gonna be melting any time soon. You can drink several cold beverages from this mug before it loses its cooling abilities. We wash it and make sure it’s dry before puting it in the freezer. We also usually place it upside down. It hasn’t chipped or broken. I feel like it was a little expensive, but it works, and apparently has just the right amount of gel in it. Two big thumbs up!

Years ago I found one of these similar type of "Freeze" Mugs at a, Yea, you guessed it, a "Thrift" store. Not a Dollar store or a Dollar General store but a used stuff "Thrift" store !!!! It was a real good one but the reality is that sooner or later they start loosing the (freeze) liquid Very Very Very Slowly in the ?? "Sealed" ?? walls around the outside of the Mug !!! But Absolutely NO need to worry since this Liquid is Absolutely Safe and NON toxic !!!! That is "IF" it ever happens to you, as for me I am not ever going to loose even one "Molecule" of sweat over it !!!! Anyway, This Particular Mug is pretty nice and keeps my Whatever Beverage nice and cool for "Hours" especially if I drop a couple of Additional Ice Cubes in with it all !!! Sometimes with extra ice cubes it turns into a (Semi) Water ice treat which is fine with me !!! The one thing is, that it does NOT hold 16 ounces, and even 14 ounces fills it to the very "Tip"-Top" of the rim !!! 12 ounces is more like what it should be rated for and then you still can add a couple of ice cubes for extra long cool enjoyment !!! All in all I am very Pleased with it, although it "Seems" a Tad pricey, but that's "Inflation" taking our hard earned dollars away, these last several years. I bought this to replace the one I broke. First the pro's. 1. It arrived quickly and no issues 2. After washing it was put and the freezer and froze fast. 3. I coldness lasted a long time 4. Look, it looks exactly as shown on the website so no surprises Cons None

I had these as a kid, and I was feeling nostalgic one day. I now use this thing everyday. I have ice cold beverages without the ice. It's totally not necessary, but it's a frosty mug! It's great! I do wish the material had a color to it, because after a few uses the cup is showing marks around where you would sip. I don't understand how as I don't bite when I sip... but there are light marks. I think a tint to the mug would hide these well. This is a great dad gift. I'm not sure why, but they love it. Keeps the beer cold I suppose!

I got burned by a couple of freezer mugs I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond a couple of years ago, so I was hesitant to buy these. They were never dropped within the first week of owning them and they automatically began to crack in the freezer, all on their own. I was livid. Needless to say, the good reviews on these mugs are telling the truth. They're excellent so far. I've had them for a month and no cracking in sight, which puts them leagues ahead of the other ones I bought. Plus, here in south, summers are really hot. It's nice to have my beverage in something that will keep it cold until I finish it. Just don't drop them and I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dishwasher. Even if something says it's dishwasher safe, it doesn't mean it can withstand what your dishwasher is going to "dish out", no pun intended.... My advice, hand wash these, keep them in a safe place and they'll last you quite a while.

I purchased two of these, and they are doing a great job at keeping beverages ice cold so far for a few hours. I have used this type of mug for 20 years, and wanted to give this brand of mug a try since it is so attractive. It is the best looking freezer mug I have ever had. I was glad to learn that these mugs have no plastic or chemical smell. I have been using them for about 2 months, and I am happy so far. I hand wash these mugs in cool water, dry them, and put them upside down in freezer. NO DISHWASHER! Do not ever run hot or even warm water on them, especially if they are still even barely cool from being frozen. I believe this is the way to keep them from developing any kind of leak. If either of them fail, especially with the extra care I give them, I will re-post an updated review. A few of the mugs I bought 20 years ago from another manufacturer still work flawlessly, and I have hopes for these.

If you like your drinks really cold, these are the way to go. You rinse the mug with water (so it is still wet) and then put it in the freezer upside down for awhile until the liquid inside freezes (I usually put it in the freezer each night before bed). When you are ready to drink from it, fill it with liquid. For extra freezing, put your drink in it about 1/2 hour before you use it, and the liquid will then be slushly. You avoid the need for ice all together, and you don't get that watered down drink that you get when you use ice. These typically last a few years and then crack, and then I buy a new one, so you can't expect it to last forever, and don't put it in the dishwasher or it will crack. This mug is very thick and heavy - which I really like, it seems to be sturdy construction, and it does a great job freezing the liquid inside. Overall, a really nice luxurious product.

We ordered a set of four as these freezer mugs are hard to find in stores. Quality is excellent. They keep drinks icy cold and are sturdy. Good purchase.

This is a high quality mug. It turns a cold drink into a slushie in no time. Great for cordials & soft drinks. Easily able to see how much is left. Big handle for big hands. It is a real treat using this mug. Edit 1: Bought a second one, still not disappointed. Do yourself a favour and get one of these bad boys. Edit 2: It has been a smidge over one year since buying 2 of these and I can say that they are still very, very good. We use them just about every day and they are still holding up. Bloody marvellous

These mugs replaced freezer mugs that had begun leaking. We spent a lot of time looking in specialty shops hoping to find good replacements and found none. These are great and better than the previous mugs.

These mugs are well made, comfortable to hold and keep my drinks frosty cold. They are perfect for a hot summers evening.
